StatusI thought we were in good shape – various people have worked on
Material Description over the years.
Pixels: Complete in Pixel Tracking volume; need Services from PP0 to PPF1 (|
| > 2.0)
SCT: Complete up to and including PPF1
TRT: Complete up to and including PPF1
Beampipe: OK – although could be improved by merging 2 layers into 1

Beyond PPF1 ?This is an ID Responsibility (rather than Pix/SCT/TRT) and is outside
the ID volume.
Was being looked at by a student (from LAr).
There is a note: ATL-LARG-INT-2009-002
Several of us have looked at this note and cannot understand what has been done.
The SCT (EC) PPF1’s & Heaters were implemented.
There is the possibility that TRT PPF1’s were implemented twice (?!?).
Some Cables/Pipes may have been implemented ....but unclear.
Author has left ATLAS.
In retrospect, not obvious where info was coming from and who was in charge.
I have very little confidence in what has been done.Stephen Haywood – Simulation WG18 Mar 2009

Critical area is PPF1 (triangular section in drawing)Don’t have all Patch Panel numbers!- S. Haywood has provided numbers for SCT end-cap
(34501.65 g). Thanks!- Don’t have Pixel and TRT so made a guess based on
number of cables with respect to SCT!

What now ?
Andrea Bocci needs to understand status of TRT PPF1.
I need to speak to Sigi Wenig and Andrea Catinaccio who were responsible for ID Services.
Adele asked for Eng Drawings ... Do you really want these ?
Who will implement ID Services ? I assume ID !
If we want to improve model of Beampipe (not obvious that it is necessary), Grant would like some help.
