What is this jQuery thing all about?
• jQuery is a javascipt framework• Allows you to make webpages dynamic
– Can update the page without reloading– Add in pre-built widgets and plugins
• Date selector, tooltips
– Send and fetch information via XML (AJAX)– This can be done asynchronously
