Initial Idea Concept One:Song: Emile Sande- Clown

My second idea focuses on a women who is made to look like a fool in her relationship. I got this idea from Beyonce- If I Were a Boy, I wanted to reinforce the idea that paranoid women always have this thought that people know something they don’t about her relationship. Which is where the ‘clown’ repetition of the lyrics comes in.

Initial Idea Concept Two:Song: Emile Sande- Clown.

My initial idea focuses around a female who gets bullied in high school and wants to change the way she looks just so she can fit in however she realises that actually fitting in isn’t all ‘that’ and changes into her own person. My music video will show the process that this female goes through and the lengths she will take just to fit in. I believe this reflects real life scenarios where girls try their best to fit in by following fashion trends, going to parties, drinking ect. This partly contrasts to the meaning of the song title ‘Clown’ due to the fact that every clown is meant to be individual. My music video will show how society and pressure from the media can influence a certain person into believing somebody else is superior to them. And the effects that this idea has on society. Also I wanted to show that been in the popular group and dressing like a super model with a face full of make up isn’t the way forward for everybody and everybody should try and be unique.

Initial Idea Concept Three:Song: Emile Sande- Clown.

My third concept focuses on a female who is completely different to her family and breaks the norms of a typical daughter. I want to show how from the outside everything can look all fine from the outside however behind closed doors things can be completely different. I got this idea because I thought about how a female in this situation would feel and this would be like a ‘clown’ they would feel as though all of their family thinks that their she is a stupid and they find her funny.
