Initial Ideas Haunting: Including supernatural suspicions and an element of a character being ‘watched’ and ‘haunted’ in their own home. Typical, moans and groans and the ‘self- movement’ of objects. Lost: A character becoming lost in the woods, late at night, with a low battery video camera to record their last hours whilst they are tormented and eventually killed. POV: Simply filming from the view of a monster or subject of the supernatural. Following and tormenting a character as the audience watch from the eyes of the unknown. Using editing skills to make the camera ‘blink’ and make breathing noises to personify the filming. Flashback discovery: Characters going on an ‘adventure’ into a place that is stereotypically notorious for its ‘scary atmosphere’ (e.g. The woods). Setting the storyline instantly and leaving clues as to what may follow as a character discovers something supernatural out on the ‘adventure’, but doesn't live to tell the tale. Creating a location for the audience to recognise and fear for later in the plot,
