1. North pier about 970 meters long (650 meter was built in 2015 and 300 meter was built in 1991).

Extend lenght of North pier by a further 350 meter
Install modern container handling equipments to increase load/unloading
capacity to 30 boxes per hour.
Deepened the port to 13 meter through out the entire area.
Srenghten existing South and East pier as well as the old North pier.
Old Berth Revitalisation
The port will be offered to investor under a Joint – Operation scheme.
Period of the concession is between 30-50 years.
Because existing South Pier is already operating for the past 30 years and has been generating revenues, BIFZA will require the choosen investor to pay annual rent to compenstate for loss of income due to the transfer of the operation from BIFZA to Investor.
Investor is expected to invest in the construction of the North pier extension of 300 meter, expansion of existing container yard by another 20 hectare and construction additional pier on the south side if the volume waranted, deepened the port to a depth of around 13 m, and install relevant and required equipments and systems to support an efficient modern and dependable container handling and general port operation with a capacity to handle 30 boxes of container per hour.
Up front payment of Rp 400 billion to compenstate BIFZA for the construction and land reclaimation of the North pier extension project completed in 2015.
