WHAT IS IaaS? Xigent’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a cloud computing offering that employs our Business Efficient IT (BEI) Methodology. Xigent operates a client’s virtual infrastructure environment in our high availability and hardened data center facility.

We provide complete infrastructure solutions including hardware (virtual servers, storage, networking, security, etc.), platform software, technical support, high availability data center facilities, and the processes needed for IT operations to meet the outcomes required by daily business.

What is the Scope of IaaSUtilizing our BEI methodology, Xigent’s secure multi-tenant infrastructure provides a virtual private data center and includes the following:

• Secure data center that is SAS70 compliant

• Redundant power

• Redundant/diverse connectivity

• Controlled air and humidity environment

• Five 9 reliability

IaaS offerings include:

1. Highly available compute and storage resources based on VMware vSphere, tiered NetApp Unified Storage, Cisco and PaloAlto Networks, which support managed virtualized guest machines.

• Includes all VMware Enterprise Plus licenses

• Patches and upgrades

• Spin up, cloning or removal of virtual machines per request

• Monitoring, alerting and problem resolution of systems

• Microsoft licenses (optional)

2. Network and bandwidth (firewalls, switches, routers)

• Patches and upgrades

• Manage allocated bandwidth per service level agreement

• Manage configuration and security

• Monitoring and alerting on bandwidth utilization, connectivity, and systems

3. Provide equipment, services, and monthly reporting as outlined in the service level agreement.

WHAT PROBLEMS DOES IaaS SOLVE? • Existing infrastructure is not flexible or scalable enough for the business causing slow deployment

PRICINGA monthly fee is charged based on the size, scope, and resources required by the customer. Contracts are typically 48-60 months in duration. A setup fee may be charged to initiate the IaaS solution.
