Dear 8th Grade Students and Parents, This is the time of the school year when we would normally be holding our annual High School Night. Schools from around our area would set up tables so that you could speak with their representatives and learn about their schools. Because we are unable to hold an in-person gathering this year, we are providing you with links to the schools' recruiting videos and flyers. They are attached below, and they will also be added to the ICMS website by the end of this week. The ice storm interrupted some of the schools' ability to complete their videos and send them to us. As a result, there are fewer links in this initial email than we had anticipated. You can be on the lookout for additional emails and postings to our website as the schools send their materials to us. As you probably already know, our students are given automatic admission to Harding Charter Preparatory HS, our sister school. They are holding a Virtual Open House exclusively for ICMS on Wednesday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m. Here is the link to that Zoom meeting: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/9164709005?pwd=M0lURDNRSzBwTWM 3Qk1yOG9haHVrdz09 It's hard to imagine that it's already time for our 8th graders to prepare to leave our nest and head to high school. Unlike many middle schoolers, you have a choice in where you go to high school. We are here to help you with any questions you may have about the process of choosing and applying to high schools of choice (as opposed to attendance-area schools).
