The next IEEE 1900.6 & 1900.7 group meeting will be held in Beijing, China, on 8th-11th
October 2012.
VENUE

has a history of over 3, 000 years. Beijing is located in northern China, close to Tianjin
Municipality and partially surrounded by Hebei Province. The city covers an area of more
than 16,410 square kilometers and has a population of 14.93 million people.
Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) is home to 2171 researchers
and 22,000 full time students and about 30,000 officially registered non-full-time students. It

An international center, BUPT wireless technology innovation institute is unlike any other
research organizations in China. BUPT wireless technology innovation institute is formed in
July 1998.It contains 8 small laboratories. There are about 200 senior researchers in the lab.

Our meeting will be held in Beijing OrientalBay International Hotel (a five star Han style
business hotel) during the meeting time from October 8th to 11th.

Transportation
The most convenient way to the meeting place is that you land at the Beijing capital
international airport and then take a taxi to the Beijing OrientalBay International Hotel. The
distance is about 25 kilometers, and it may take you less than an hour. The cost is about
70RMB(11 dollars) by taxi.
The other way to the Beijing OrientalBay International hotel is by subway (From 6:30-23:00).
First, take airline subway from airport to Dongzhimen(东直门) station. Then, transfer to
subway line 2 at Dongzhimen（东直门） station to the Guloudajie（鼓楼大街） station, and
you can see the OrientalBay Hotel out of the Guloudajie（鼓楼大街）subway station. It will
take you just 27RMB to get there within45 minutes.
