RNY Program Description RNY is Governor Cuomo’s new statewide economic development

electric power program

910 Megawatts (MW) 50% NYPA hydropower 50% market power procured by NYPA

At least 350 MW for applicants in upstate utilities territories

At least 200 MW for attraction and expansion purposes

Up to 100 MW for small businesses and not-for-profit corporations

Competitive application process

Long-term contracts of up to seven years
