I. VENUE The conference proper will held in Auditorium Zone B, at ADB Headquarters, No. 6 ADB Avenue, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. All participants are invited to a cocktail reception on Thursday, 24 August 2009 in the ADB Executive Dining Room Coffee Lounge from 5:30-7:00 p.m. II. AIRPORT TRANSFERS Airport transfers have been arranged as follows: 1.1 Arrival Upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, please proceed to the International Organizations Desk located at the airport lobby where an ADB contact person will direct you to the ALAMO Transport representative who will then escort you to the car that will bring you to the hotel. For those arriving at the Centennial Airport on Philippine Air Lines flights, please look for ALAMO Transport counter located outside the arrival area (right side). 1.2 Departure Due to occasional heavy traffic between your hotel and the airport, it is advisable to leave for the airport at least 3 hours before your flight departure. Please prepare PhP750 or its US dollar equivalent (about US$17) for payment at the airport of the international terminal fee. III. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION IN MANILA ADB-sponsored participants are booked at Crowne Plaza Hotel, No. 1 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Manila, Philippines, Contact Person: Ms. Laurie Balderrama-Cardeno, Corporate Business Development Manager Email: [email protected], Tel No. 0063-2-6337222, Fax: 0063-2-6332821, website: www.ihg.com). The hotel provides on daily basis complimentary buffet breakfast. guest’s personal account. Before departure from Manila, participants are expected to make direct settlement with the hotel for all accounts. IV. ACCESS TO ADB

Access by participants to the ADB building is allowed only through a visitor registration system. All those who have confirmed their participation have been enlisted in the system and will be issued an event-specific ID pass upon presentation of any valid ID with photo (e.g., passport or driver’s license). The ADB-issued event-specific IDs will be valid throughout the duration of the Workshop and will allow participants to get in and out of ADB through its various gates. Please wear the ID at all times while inside ADB premises. V. MEALS

Snacks will be served in the morning and in the afternoon during the conference. Lunch on 24 August will be served at the ADB Private Dining Rooms 2,3 and 4 (second floor, take the spiral stairways near the Auditoriums). Lunch on 25 August will be served at the ADB Private Dining Rooms _____. Signs will be posted to show the way. VI. ALLOWANCES

ADB-sponsored participants will be provided with a modest subsistence allowance and a fixed lump-sum miscellaneous travel allowance to cover the cost of airport transfers, visa fees (if applicable), in-city transport, terminal fees, and other miscellaneous travel expenses during your stay in Manila.

To facilitate processing of your applicable allowances, we kindly request submission of the following documents to Ms. Clarisse Santos, during coffee breaks, on 24 August: (i) photocopy of the air ticket; and (ii) boarding passes. Payment of applicable allowances will be done immediately upon complete submission of all relevant documents. VIII.
