Basic element of universal usage of VELOX buildingsystem is timber-cement boards VELOX. Source rawmaterial for its production is processed wood-cuts fromneedles trees wood so called "wood chips" - which is90% of board.
Another components are - cement to secure strengthand coherence of boards, and solution of water glassthat stabilizes board against humidity and increases itsresistance against moulds and mice.
VELOX boards take over the features of wood, so it iseasy to work with them and process them - you can cutthem, drill, join with nails, screw without dowell,millthem.
Complexity of building systems is guaranteed by ownproduction of timber-cement elements for ceilings andpartitions, special building ties for construction ofcaseing (panelling) and supplies of steel-space girderfor reinforcement of ceilings. Products for special usagewith noise protection barriers are included in the offer.
In the whole process of production the control is gua-ranteed, if the technology of production is kept, inclu-ding outcoming control of measurement, strength andother standards for board production. Boards must berectangular, the edges must not be crumbled away, theirwidth, length and thickness must be in tolerance ofstandards.Verified technology of production with propercontrol guarantees high quality of boards andconsequently good quality of construction work.
Technical and testing institut in Prague confirmed andcertified VELOX boards and does controls at producerannually. Control is aimed at meeting standards thatmeans supervising the certified product.

VERTICAL CONSTRUCTIONS

Way of performing of wall easing with VELOX boards is easy.Onto already prepared basis of a construction real plan ofconstruction is carried over and gradual building of casing wallboards, and usually it start in a corner of an object. First basiclayer of casing is built in the whole range according to projectdesign
On an outside casing one-side tie is put in a way, that first issettled (t + cca 50 mm) from building corner and consequenttirs are settled in regular distance calculating 4 pcs / m of wall(cca 250 mm), where t = total thickness of wall without plaster inmm. Last tie on board is settled cca 50 mm before the end. Tocreate corner you cannot use board slights shorter than 1 m.Insulating material - polystyren - must be cut of exactly by thethickness of connecting board.
Creating a corner:
NOTE: Into already prepared base construction it isrecommended to place steel anchocing reinforcement for betterjoining of wall with the base.
Board is turned by 180° and is put by ties on already drawnplan.
Before settling of inside board into one-side ties a tie must beplace on an end.Outside and inside casing boards must cover up each other atleast by the wall thickness = "t". The best thing to do is to startwith one whole board and one half board.

Lining of windows and doors id done by reveal stripes, that areclassing wall from three sides. Reveal stripes are nailedbetween wall and nails (min. 3 pcs on board width). Level of sillis left open for concreting. Under the sill there is concrete coreinto which it is recommended to put min. 2 pcs if rib concretesteel that conceal 750 mm into the following wall. Lintels aremade with space steel girders or concrete steel. Beforeconcreting, it is necessary to support upper part of lining ofwindows and doors.

Supports must be well-carrying and mustbe built on a strong basis and / or fixed well, distance betweeneach support depends on thickness of spread planks. Thesupports are taken away from top floor to ground floorwhile performing the support it is necessary to proceedaccording to valid standards and rules

CONCRETINGOF CARRYING CONSTRUCTION
ASSEMBLING AND CONCRETING OF CEILINGS
Very important part of finishing work both inside and outside isplastering. Plaster protects construction against severeinfluence of surroundings, mechanic damage and increasesgood characteristics of building material, influence finalapperance and architecture.
For construction of VELOX system of carrying walls there aretechnical recommendations for design preparation and buildingrealisation of plaster related layers and final surface treatment.

Technical information ensuing from modern experience aregeneral. These general information can't include specificconditions at site.
To use plaster mixture on construction of VELOX system thereis set of technical advice from each producer of dry plaster andmortar mixtures.
When applying it is necessary to keep up the producersinstructions.
Base for plaster at VELOX system is timber-cement board laidon binding. For out side of peripheral construction there will be,in most of the cases, used double-layer timber-cement board,e.g. VELOX WS-EPS.
To start with plaster it is necessary the concrete core maturesand dries properly. Time for drying depends on climate andsituation at site.
It means work that is needed to perform before start ofplastering. The work mainly means protection agains rain andothers:
finishing of roof constructionsettling hole fillings so that the plaster is not damagedafterwardscovering sills with metal sheets or settling sills itself, coveringof attic, window sills with metal sheets and other consols,handles etc.covering those parts of construction that shouldn't get dirty
(windows, doorstep, handles, furniture...)before inside plastering all installation means must befinished (water, gas, electricity, heating). If there is morepipelines next to each other. The whole hole must be filled inwith mortar and covered with glass cotton or netting put incore layer; exceedes no more than 100 mm on both sides

When plastering inside the temperature of the surface and aircannot drop bellow + 5°C. This temperature must be for 2 or 3days before plastering so that plastered surface reaches thistemperature and must be kept for the time till the plaster getshard (cca 7 days).
Fresh plaster made outside can't be exposed to big sun shineand severe drying wind. To prevent past drying of the plasterand to make easy its processing, specialist work in shadow partof the object. Fresh plaster is kept maist for about 3 days byspraying water on.
VELOX boards content also rest of back and bast but in verysmall amount. When we use plaster on gypsum basis parget forinside treatment these parts can generate brown spots, mainlywhen the surface is not dry sufficiently. When painting we shalluse paints recommended by paint producers.

TREATMENTOF SURFACE
We recommend to perform three-layer plasters.
- serves as anchoring layer, enables betteradhesiveness of core plaster onto base. Spray is made ofcement and river send in ratio 1:2, size of send grain is 0 - 7 mm.Spray is laid by trowell sharply on the whole area and fills in allcracks between boards.
consists of cement-lime mortar (size of send grain0 - 7 mm), general requirements for thickness of inside core is15 mm (min. 10 mm), outside core 20 mm (min. 15 mm). In casethe core is thicker, is spread in two layers, when the secondlayer is spread after first one is board enough.
When spreading core layer, the glass cloth is pushed in the lastthird of outside part of peripheral walls, which serves as plasterreinforcement and risk of fissure is lowered. Glass cloth must beresistant against alkali. At the corners of buildings nettings arespread over by 20 cm, each stripe of cloth are covering up in joinspots by 10 cm, in parts where tension is bigger - corners ofwindow and door holes - we recommend to put there clothdiagonally cca 50 x 30 cm.
When spreading core layer of inside plaster in corners andplaces where materials are connected with various changes,the core is cut to base or the connection is spanned byreinforcing cloth.
With outside plastering a cut is made and filled in with plasticcement. Time for maturing of the plaster is 1 day/1 mm of plasterthickness.
- is final surface treatment and you can alsouse parget or various binds of decorating plasters whether itdepends on structure or colour of plaster. The best thing to do isto use dry plaster mixtures to ensure constant quality ofmaterial.
For ceilings we recommend to use hardening mortar as basiclayer together with laying reinforcing cloth over the whole area.As final surface treatment you can use parget or various kindsof decorative plasters. Surface treatment performed in such away is necessary to understand as the whole system. For thisreason we recommend to buy each component from onesupplier or producer and follow his instructions for application.
Plaster-cartons can be used as surface treatment of insidewalls and ceilings.
