For the whole of April to July we will be implementing a ‘no photography’ policy at Playlink sessions. This is inline with our commitment to keeping our children safe, and has been discussed and agreed by Welcare and The Red Oak after comments we have received from some parents. It includes all photographs taken by all attending parents and carers (excluding staff members) including those of just your own child. We would like to know your views on this trial, both positive and negative so we can decide on a permanent solution to this issue from September. If you would like to comment, please fill in a comment form (available from the welcome table at all Playlink sessions) and return to any member of staff before the end of June. Please note we will only be able to take written comments into consideration. Please respect this policy as we wouldn’t want to offend you by asking you not to take photos.

June’s edition will be available on Tuesday 29th May…

Please recycle me when you pick up the next edition of in:form!

Pushchairs, Prams, Scooters and Bikes in the Centre

Thanks to those of you who are remembering to leave their scooters, bikes, pushchairs or prams outside.

If you’re not remembering to, please be reminded that due to lack of space and issues around health, safety & hygiene, all of the above should be left in the buggy store outside (the only exception to this is prams & pushchairs with sleeping children in).

Using the Centre…

To make sure that everyone who attends our sessions have a good time and is kept safe, we are asking all parents and carers to remember...

to sign in and out of the session.

that you are responsible for the supervision of your child at all times.

to encourage your child to take care of the toys and equipment.

to take your child home if they are unwell.

to keep the room tidy, and to tidy up with your children.

to use appropriate language, and not to shout.

to stay inside the session and not leave the Children’s Centre site.

We are collecting used printer cartridges and toners to raise money for charity. Bring them to the centre and pop them in the box in the corridor between reception & nursery. Thank you.
