Wednesday Nov 13th – What to do on arrival to Mission Bay 1) The following participants will need to pick up their singlet’s/ shirts at Mecca Stone house from 430pm-545pm: * People who were unable to attend on Wednesday Nov 6th. Rego bags are also available for pickup. * All participants who went for the screen-printed number option. * All male competitors to pick up your race singlet. 2) Sign in at the JCSS trailer and get your timing chip (this is done each week). Watermen need 2x timing chips. Please, on Wednesday arrive earlier than normal to give yourself plenty of time to get your shirt / singlet, Rego pack (if applicable) and timing chip, ready for your respective briefings.

Event Shirts: You must have your 2XU competitor singlet on to compete, no exceptions. If you have forgotten it or lost it you will need to purchase another shirt/ singlet from the JCSS caravan to be allowed to start.

Additional Race shirts are $40 Male / $50 Female

Race board start times – Tweaked Further Due to a large number of queries, confusion and head scratching the race board wave system has been removed. The final event run sheet is visible at the end of the attachment; SUP Raceboard timings are as follows:

621pm – 14 Footers (Both Over & Under 90kg)

622pm – 12’6 Race boards + Masters 623pm – Womens 3km SUP

Timing Chips - how they work. Each week you are required to quickly sign in at the JCSS trailer. When you do you will be issued your timing chip from our staff, these are to be worn around your ankle. At the conclusion of each race and a Horleys Replace, you will be required to take off the timing chip and recollect the following week at the JCSS trailer.

Compete as a team and an individual There are podium positions and bragging rights up for grabs for the fastest overall team in the following categories:

• SUP Surfboard • SUP Raceboard

Each team consists of 4 members, the highest three scores from your team count towards your weekly score i.e. the lowest placed finisher in your team doesn’t have their points count. The combined highest nine total scores from 12 races are totaled for end of year positions. To enter a team, simply email troy@citysurfseries.com the name of your team and the 4x members in it by Tuesday 5pm. Minimalistic prizes are given at the end of the year to the podium finishing teams however it will be all good fun. Team Photos will be taken on week 2 by our on site photographer Scottie T. All members to be wearing official JCSS event 2XU shirts for their team photo.

On site activation - Alta Bean Bags, Wild Bean Cafe Each week we have 15x Alta Bean Bag options for competitors and spectators to kick back and chill out on. Dhiman will be on site each week also with the Bean Machine selling Wild Bean coffee, food and snacks.

On site activation – SUP Retails Stores and Brands Each week we have 5 different retail stores and SUP brands on site for participants to try out and demo the latest 2014 range across a huge variety of brands. Mission Bay will have a festival feel each week so please support these stores and brands if looking for a new SUP for the season.

Weekly  Spot  Prizes  –  Mecca  Stonehouse   Each week we will be having our social spot prize evening at Mecca Stonehouse where any 12,8,4

or 1 week signed up competitor regardless of their placing goes in the draw to win out of our massive weekly spot prizes. On arrival to Mecca (from 715pm onwards) see the JCSS crew and make sure your name goes in the draw. A gold coin donation per person is required to enter the weekly spot prize draw, with all proceeds going to Surf Lifesaving Northern Region. There are $20 meal options now available + ice cold beers and refreshments waiting upon your arrival. Prize giving will aim to start at 730pm each evening, but please excuse us if it starts at 745pm. Each week we have over 25 different spot prizes + this Wednesday we have Raumati from Plantation Island on site… see below. Come have a drink and something to eat each night and be apart of the big Jetts City Surf Series social crew. Two of the 8 main prizes ($50+ value) each week will go to competitors who have a Jetts City Surf Series sticker on their vehicle and board/ Ski/ Surfboard, it works as follows:

• Our photographer Scottie T will roam the carpark and select a vehicle with our JCSS sticker on it each week for a weekly spot prize.

• Scottie T will also select an image of a competitor at random each week with a JCSS sticker on their Sup/ Ski/ Surfboard

This year we are stoked to announce that with a HUGE thanks to our 5x on site SUP Brands / Retail stores, we have 5x SUP boards to give away at the end of the year, to the winners of the 5x largest SUP divisions. The winner of whichever SUP division has the most 12 week participants in it who complete 9 races, will get to choose from the 4x available SUPS as their 1st prize. The winner of the 2nd largest SUP division will then have the choice of the 3 remaining SUP boards etc. The 5th Board (BIC) goes to the winner of the BIC One Design Class.

Everyone who enters the Jetts City Surf Series on a 12-week pass and competes a minimum of 9 events goes in the draw for our main end of series prize, thanks to Pete at Island Holidays, which includes: Return flights on Air Pacific from Auckland to Nadi, return car & ferry transfers from airport to the Island, 5 nights accommodation at Plantation Island Resort. (Valued at over $3,000). You must be present at our end of season prize giving (March 13th) to claim the prize.
