Basalt
Rich in magnesium and calcium,
Basalt sprawls within the Earth’s crust
and across ocean floor particularly in
the Irkutsk, Buryatia and the Trans-
Baikal region. It is also abundantly
available on Earth’s moon and on
planet Mars. Astronauts who have
visited the moon had brought back
numerous basaltic rocks.Origin

volcanic rock resulted from
the crystallization of volcanic
magmas that has cooled briskly.

Crushed Basalt rocks are smelted, wound up into bobbins of
basalt fiber and wrought into a unique helix via ReforceTech’s
patented process to form the strong and versatile MiniBars™.

The Alkaline Resistant Glass bars are
produced by twisting alkali-resistant
glass fibres; saturated and coated with
epoxy resin.

Origins
They are made resistant to the high alkalinity of cement through the
use of zirconium-dioxide in the glass formulation. They combine the
compressive strength of concrete with the high flexural and tensile
strength of glass fibers.
