Is that the final answer of the group?

Do you also agree that it is better to give than to receive?

Why do you say so?

(The teacher will facilitate in processing the message/ passage.)

Congratulations! You were able to complete the message. Young detectives like you deserve an awesome clap. Lets do this!

Going back to our learning stations, lets begin with eyes on me station. Based on your answers to see and to give, what is common to them?

You mentioned earlier that the word TO makes them similar and now, focus yourselves on the second word. What can you observe? And how do you consider the second word in each answer?

Do you agree class?

And what is a verb?

Exactly! Thats the simplest description of what a verb is. And it is written in what form of the verb?

Combining all your answers, how do we form infinitive/s?

Brilliant! Infinitive can be easily recognized because of TO + VERB. See, thats how easy to identify infinitive. Is that clear?

Lets take a look one more time at the completed messages, aside from your answers earlier, will you identify or name the remaining infinitives?

Very good! It is an indication that you are indeed keen observers.

So, lets move on with our next learning station, which is THE VOICE.Youre very lucky! Ive invited an American Pop Rock Band- MAROON 5 just for you.

Lets begin!

Very good! You were able to identify correctly the infinitives present on the lyrics of the song.

Precisely! This is what I love in this class. You exercise very well your critical thinking skills. It is called a PREPOSITIONAL PHRASE. Based from the phrase TO ME, how do we form it ?

Right!Take a look at this example:I go to school to learn. Which is the infinitive in the sentence?

Good! How about the prepositional phrase?

Alright! Using these pictures, construct a sentence using infinitive.-(verb- swim)-(verb-eat)

For our next activity, I have here strips of paper containing phrases, do the Eh di wow! move if it is an infinitive and Push mo yan te! move for prepositional phrase.

(The teacher teach the proper move/ gesture) Are you ready?

Exactly! And in what tense is it written?

How about the prepositional phrase?

Absolutely! Well, thats an indicator that youve understood the lesson for today. Congratulations!

Aside from the content or knowledge you learned, what values did you learn?

Well said! Those youve mentioned are correct. Class, bear in your mind and heart all those values you learned today and tomorrow. Use it as a guide in your everyday life in order for you to have a direction along your journey. Is that clear class?

THE BOASTFUL SHRIMPOnce there was a shrimp who thought he was the most handsome shrimp in all the world. Just look at my sword, he proudly told, pointing to the protrusion at the end of his nose.Nothing can pierce my shield. All I need is to show my shield and to hold my head high. You are a handsome shrimp but you need not to display yourself too much or else those humans might grab you, said the old shrimp.Grab me? All I need is to stab him with my sword and that will be the end of him. Someday, they will learn to admire me! said the shrimp. The young shrimp forgot the old shrimps advice. He continued his habit of showing his strong muscles inside his shell to other young shrimps. One day, a fishing boat passed by to look for a good catch. The boastful shrimp swam to the surface of the water. The fishermen saw him and the boastful young shrimp was caught in the net. That day, at lunch time, the boastful shrimp was seen on the end of a barbecue stick. What a fine, fat shrimp! exclaimed the persons around the dining table. Its the best shrimp Ive ever tasted! said the person who picked up the barbecue stick. The boastful young shrimp got his wish at last.
