El Instituto Cervantes de Nueva York celebra el XXVI Simposio de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil el 19 de mayo de 2017.

En esta edición nuestro invitado es Alejandro Palomas, Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil, 2016. Participan además: Edu Flores, ilustrador de Apila Ediciones; Eva Jiménez, editorial Flamboyant; María Ahmad y Paz V. de Troya del Instituto Cervantes.

Este año, como novedad, ofrecemos una Feria del libro Infantil y Juvenil con la presencia de las editoriales: Apila, Ekaré, Grupo SM, Flamboyant, Lectorum, NubeOcho, Spanish Publishers (Urano, Obelisco, Sirio, Roca, Ediciones B, Anagrama, Edaf, Salamandra) Grupo Santillana USA, Toon Books y The Bilingual Publications Co.

• 9:15 am: Alejandro Palomas: Un hijo, un premio a las tres edades: escrito para adultos, publicado para jóvenes, imaginado por un niño.

• 10:30 am: Pausa.

• 10:45 am: Coloquio: Alejandro Palomas, Edu Flores y Eva Jimenez Tubau: El valor educativo de la literatura.

• 12:00 pm: Pausa y comida.

• 1:00 pm: Edu Flores: No sé dibujar. Aprendizaje y creatividad en los álbumes infantiles ilustrados.

• 1:45 pm: Eva Jiménez Tubau: El monstruo de colores. La comunicación de las emociones en la infancia.

• 2:15 pm: María Ahmad: Propuestas para didactizar una historia: ideas para llevar Un hijo al aula.

Instituto Cervantes of New York celebrates the 26th Symposium on Children´s and Young Adult Literature on May 19th, 2017.

This year our special guest is Alejandro Palomas, the winner of the 2016 National Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Literature. Other participants this year include Edu Flores (illustrator at Apila Ediciones) ; Eva Jiménez (Flamboyant); María Ahmad and Paz V. de Troya (Instituto Cervantes).

New to this year´s celebration is the Children’s Book Fair with the participation of the following publishers: Apila, Ekaré, Grupo SM, Flamboyant, Lectorum, NubeOcho, Spanish Publishers, LLC (Urano, Obelisco, Sirio, Roca, Ediciones B, Anagrama, Edaf, Salamandra) Santillana USA Publishing, Toon Books and The Bilingual Publications Co.
