Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO) was established in 2012 with aims to promote worldwide
research, education, prevention, clinical studies and optimal patient care in all aspects of hematologic
malignancies. Organized by its founders and a world class steering committee, SOHO is the only society
specific to the field of hematologic malignancies.
On behalf of the SOHO program committee, it gives us great pleasure to announce the SOHO Annual
Meeting, scheduled for September 11-14, 2019 at the Hilton Americas in Houston, Texas and to invite
you to be a part of this premier event!
The SOHO Annual Meeting is the leading meeting that focuses solely on new advances and practical
clinical applications in the field of hematologic malignancies. The speakers are a multidisciplinary group
of internationally recognized experts that represent the spectrum of these diseases. This year, we expect
more than 1,000 hematologic malignancy experts to attend the 3.5-day meeting and participate in a
number of educational formats including general sessions, meet-the-professor sessions, satellite
symposia, debates, plenary sessions, patient case presentations, poster presentations and informal
exchanges.
There are many opportunities for industry to support the meeting via tradeshow exhibition, satellite
symposium participation, exclusive sponsorship options and other possibilities. Each opportunity promises
to provide a significant presence for companies during the meeting.
All support opportunities will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Further details may be found
in the enclosed prospectus. Please note the following deadline:

Exhibit Space Costs
The cost of one standard exhibit space is $10,000 which includes a 10 x 10 ft draped booth, one draped table,
two side chairs, one waste basket and an identification sign. Two meeting badges are provided with each 10
x 10 ft space. Registered exhibitors may order additional services from the official meeting service contractor.
In addition to the standard exhibit space, a limited number of premium spaces such as corner booths, exhibit
islands, semi-islands, and exhibits located near exhibit floor attractions are priced accordingly.
Exhibit Service Manual
The Exhibitor Service Manual will be available online in early February.
The exhibitor service manual includes information on shipping, furniture, booth accessories, lead retrieval,
material handling rates, utility specifications and charges, carpet rental and cleaning, signs, security service,
telephones, freight services, internet, audio/visual equipment, computer rental, photography services, porter
and floral services. Order forms and rate schedules are included.

Industry Expert Session
Industry Expert Sessions provide an opportunity for exhibitors to present live non-accredited educational
sessions, highlighting a new service or on the development of a particular product for SOHO attendees.
Exhibitors with secured contracted 2019 Annual Meeting exhibit space are eligible to apply to participate in
a Session slot. Session slots may be reserved for $60,000 each and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served
basis.

Six time slots are available for exclusive 1-hour Industry Expert Sessions. Times are assigned on a first-come, first-
served basis, so reserve your spot early. Submit the Supporter Opportunities application to the attention of

Meeting Rooms
Exhibitors may rent meeting space at SOHO located in the Hilton Americas-Houston. Private meeting rooms
provide the space that attendees and exhibitors need to close deals and collaborate with colleagues while
onsite at the annual meeting.
Private meeting space is available on a daily basis. Meeting room fees are charged according to the rates
listed in the table. The fee includes the cost of the meeting room, booking and coordination. Other event
expenses including catering, décor, audiovisual and room charges must be paid directly by the organizers to
the hotel.
Email broadcast
SOHO will distribute an email broadcast on behalf of Exhibitors to all registered delegates for a fee of $1,500.
The content of the email requires preapproval by the SOHO Program Committee. The content must be in final

SOHO 2019 is a central meeting point for many key opinion leaders from the hematologic oncology
community. Many interviews and reports are recorded during the event. The SOHO TV External Media Studio
is now available to pharmaceutical companies and outside agencies for recording of interviews and similar
content while onsite at the meeting.
Rental Period and Setup
● The External Media Studio is available for the duration of the congress (Wednesday through Saturday).
● Companies will be able to rent the semi-private studio in increments of 1 hour for recordings.
● The rental fee includes the shell scheme studio, basic furnishing (i.e. carpet, 1 table, 2 chairs) and the
video/audio recording.
● Companies renting a time slot will receive a copy of the raw footage. Editing of the footage to a rough,
fine or final cut is available at an additional charge.
● Promotional material and company logos may be displayed at the studio during the rental time. The use of
the SOHO logo is strictly forbidden.
● The recorded program may not result in or appear to be a part of the official SOHO educational program.
● The External Media Studio is not accessible to meeting participants; hence, audiences are not permitted to
attend studio recordings. Only the staff and the interviewee(s) are permitted inside the studio. Interviewee(s)
and staff must be registered as conference participant(s). All participants must wear badges at all times.
● All staff participating in a recording must be registered for the SOHO Annual Meeting. Those that qualify as
press may register via the official Press Program by contacting Melinda White at [email protected]. All
others must register online at regular rates https://www.sohoonline.org/site_event_detail.cfm?pk_associa-
tion_event=17903. Note that Early Rates end on April 30, 2019. Advance Rates are available from May 1-
July 31, 2019 followed by Late Rates through September 14, 2019.
Assignment Policy
Studio assignment will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The official terms and conditions including the
cancellation policy will apply after submission of the signed application form. For more information regarding

email or HTML format. Note that the SOHO Program Committee will not design or proof your email nor will
they test any links that you might include. The email will be forwarded to all registered delegates (opted in)

Each meeting room assigned for the satellite symposia sessions will come with a basic audiovisual (AV) pack-

• Draped six-foot table for literature
• Stage-top table to seat a minimum of 2 people
• Two table top microphones for the tribunal table
• Technician for the assigned ISS time
The cost of any additional AV requirements is the responsibility of the ISS organizer and should be ordered in
advance. Any additional expenses associated with an approved ISS program, such as room setup and
cleanup, food and beverage, electrical, telephone, and shipping are the sole responsibility of the ISS organ-
izer.
