Benefits of Scrap Processingu The most important benefit of processing scrap is to eliminate contamination in the metal. Thus this process

increases the value of the metal and its quality.

u Melting times are reduced, increasing furnace efficiency and therefore electrode and refractory lifespans. Processed

steel scrap is more cost effective to use in steel furnaces because of consistency from melt.

u Decreased consumption of “consumables” such as electrodes, refractory material and calcium oxide

u Shredded scrap commonly has a high density above 0.9 tonnes/m3; the unwanted materials (soil, plastics and non-

ferrous metals) are kept below 2% and may be as low as 0.75%.

u Slag production is much reduced and may be more than halved which means savings on additions of slag formers such

a lime, leading to a higher productivity.

u For reducing the volume of scrap metal, processing scrap metal is very much necessary. Only when the scrap is

shredded and the volume gets reduced, it will be easy for handling.

u Transportation problem will be made easier and due to their small size the cost of transportation also will become less.

HAMMER MILL SHREDDER (Complete Scrap Recycling Plant)Scrap metal recycling plant is the ideal solution for a wide range of ferrous and non ferrous metal applications in scrap

yards and steel works. It is equipped with Hammermill, a powful motor, fully automatic electric control, hydraulic

drive, sorting line, monitoring system, etc. ISSC scrap metal shredding line, shred large scrap metals to get 99.5%

pure steel/iron with higher efficiency and big productivity

Hammer mill shredders' feed chutes are designed with replaceable chute liners and feature state of the art, heavy

duty, driven double feed roller assemblies. Hammer mill shredder rotors is specially designed with less maintenance,

it does not have to be replaced, just hard faced every couple of years. The rotor powered by Siemens motor giving

plenty of power for shredding process. Heavy-duty wear-resisting hammer and gear design extremely lengthen the

life time and decrease the operation cost.

HEAVY DUTY SCRAP YARD CRANESSteel scrap handlers are purpose-built for the recycling industry to perform effective, high-volume material handling

duties. Steel scrap handling models that can be operated in either open terrain or indoor settings. The undercarriage

of each waste handler is manufactured from a rugged design for maximum loading capacities. Depending upon

which model that is used, a reach of up to 16 meters can be reached for large material loads. The automatic central

lubrication system on the upper carriage ensures that the loading equipment and slewing ring are evenly supplied
