• I also look at ATECO that is the Italian version of Nace Rev. 2 and it is

integrated to be suitable to the Italian market.

• I am reading a book on both the classification written by the Italian institute

of Statistics (Istat)

• I have already had a look of other two manuals produced by Institut

National de la Statistique et des Etudes Economiques (INSEE) and by the

Office for National Statistics (ONS).

• Web site of the customer when it exists

• Information from JDE category codes when they are filled (always under

control made by website or other)

• Request of information to SF (but only with the Italian one)

• Search through the portals of business registers existent in every country at

the following links:

• For the Italian company database: http://www.registroimprese.it/

• For France: https://www.infogreffe.fr/societes/formalites-entreprise/depot-des-

comptes.html

• For Germany: https://www.handelsregister.de/rp_web/welcome.do

• For UK: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/ and

http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk//wcframe?name=accessCompanyInfo

• A file in excel I created to facilitate the identification of the Nace codes (see

in the CRM shared directory)

Links and other channels I work with to identify the customer activity

• Unfortunately I have discovered this registers only from the end of

December and the first was obviously the Italian one

• We can know different data on the societies besides the activity (in some

nations with the corresponding Nace code) and the consultation are mostly

free of charge

• This might be useful to our customer data stakeholders to find easily and

economically information on the customer

• Anyway to use almost all these database I had to subscribe for a access on

their web site. I do this for the Italian, UK and Germany portals. About

French site I needn’t to register any account because it isn’t necessary for

the data of the company activity.

• So, in my opinion, only one person per country should carry out searches

by using this official company database.
