• This powerpoint presentation throws light on the industrial pollution caused by industries. I did a research on this particular topic “industrial pollution” and found so many valuable points. This project had some life based changes which could only be experienced. This ppt also shows that industrial development which is blessing for us and is also curse for us. Because of this industrial development abnormal changes occur on earth like global warming. And due to the same we people are effected. So it is our duty to prevent this and keep our earth neat and clean.

• Pollution from industry, households , vehicles and farms causes health problems for people and for animals. It can affect both the air and the quality of water in rivers, lakes and seas.

Measures taken by Government

Many schemes were introduced by the government to reduce pollution.

Some of them were specific while some were general.

Work of NTPC National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is a major

power providing corporation that has a pro-active approach for preserving the natural environment.

In November 1995, NTPC became the first public utility to bring out a comprehensive document entitled "NTPC Environment Policy and Environment Management System".
