One blender takes and rotates any drum – whether metal,fiber or plastic. The drum is gripped and picked up at floorlevel directly from the drum truck or pallet. Drum inclinationis adjusted to give the best mixing results.
Universal but still something special – the versatile blenderfor round and rectangular containers. With integrated electromechanical lifting system.
Minimum footprint – the pickup forks fit through inboardsleeves for a secure tumbling action.

If several machines need to be feededunder cramped conditions, Müller`s MOBILO is in its element. Simple tooperate and practical even in tight corners, it can pick up drums, lift andinvert them and then lower them. Thisis made possible largely by its com-pact construction, which combines lowheadroom requirements with maxi-mum lift. The carrying arms are raisedhydraulically and the operating leversallow infinitely variable positioning.The linkage is designed so that thehorizontal reach does not change during the lifting operation, the drumalways remaining visible to the opera-tor. As the drum always remains onthe same vertical center line whenbeing raised or lowered, it is possibleto position it accurately. Anotheradvantage becomes apparent whenthe drum is docked onto the nextmachine – the drum-hopper combina-tion is lowered gently and is centeredautomatically in the nest. Regardlessof which drum type is being handled.A slewing ring or motorized chassis cangive additional mobility to this com-pact device.

No problem even in cramped spaces – charging a reactor easily, safely and without creating dust. One unit can charge several reactors in a confined space.
As you like it – sieve in the morning, press tablets at midday. The mobile lifting unit is always there at the time it is needed. Here the product is passed through a sieveinto another container in a totally enclosed system.
Mobile work in a restricted space – feeding a tablet pressis possible even under very low headroom conditions.While the drum contents are being processed, the liftingand inverting unit can be performing other tasks elsewhere.
Practical needs call for practical solutions – dust-free fillingof raw materials into production vessels is no problem. This is ensured by our dust-tight FDA-approved silicone rubber caps, also available in Viton, EPDM or an electricallyconducting elastomer for special duties.

A question of hygiene
In factories producing pharmaceuticalsand food products wooden pallets aretaboo - for reasons of hygiene. Thismeans that incoming materials mustbe repalletized between the deliverydock and the processing area. In orderto reduce labor costs for this task to aminimum, Müller offers pallet transferunits, which can also act as an up-to-date and reliable clean zone interface.Since 1988 Müller pallet transfer unitshave been easing loads delivered onwooden pallets onto hygienic pallets.Pallet transfer units can be loaded formaterial flow in one or both directions,from the gray zone into the white zoneand vice versa. For certain cleanroomfacilities, cleaning chambers areinstalled before the pallet transfer unitsin order to remove dust from the mate-rials delivered. This illustrates onceagain how at Müller you always findthe right individual solution to meet themost demanding specifications.

Fully automated or manual – the application determines the handling process
It does not always make sense toautomate every operation completely,nor is it necessarily cost-effective.There are still some areas where man-ual handling is more efficient. We havedeveloped a system for simple manualhandling tasks which is quick and easyin use: the Müller drum clamping bandand yoke for lifting and invertingdrums. A clamping band with trunnionswelded to it is secured around thedrum between its form-fit beads. Theyoke is simply hooked onto the trun-nions and the assembly can then belifted by a suitable crane. An alternativeto the drum clamping band is to weldthe trunnions directly to the container,as is normally the case for examplewith mini-silos. Müller also offers asolution for plastic and fiber drums –an inverting frame welded to a hopperto fit your drums.
