Make the Connection –why exhibit in the Key markets.

ChINA

China’s ability to sustain its high economic growth rates throughout the global economic crisis in recent years is testimony to its sheer economic power and momentum.

China’s economy achieved real annual growth rates of around eight to ten percent between 2003 and 2012, making the country an increasingly important market for automation technology manufacturers. China’s enormous investment in modernizing its manufacturing base, boost-ing energy efficiency and developing and expanding its infrastructure has created a level of demand which can only be met through imports.

Industrial Automation BEIJING and the Industrial Automa-tion show at HANNOVERMESSE, Germany, offer suppliers of automation solutions the best-possible pathway to accessing the vast Chinese market. Participants at the Beijing-based show benefit from its close proximity to the Chinese seat of government and the direct access this affords to key decision makers from politics and interest groups.

The first-to-choose industrial automation show in south china is the Industrial Automation SHENZHEN in one of the richest of all Chinese cities. Shenzhen’s economic output is comparable to that of a medium sized province in China and is – behind Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou – ranked fourth among the Chinese cities.

China’s biggest showcase for automation technology is the Industrial Automation Show in Shanghai. The 70,000 quality trade visitors this fair attracts each year, many of whom come with firm investment plans, make it a worth-while investment for any company with a serious interest in developing the burgeoning Chinese market.

INdIA

India’s economy grew by five percent in the 2012/2013 financial year. while this sort of performance would put a smile on the face of any eu finance minister, for India it most likely marks a low point from which the country will emerge to achieve new record highs in the coming years.

India’s economy will continue enjoy strong growth, and so too will the country’s demand for efficient automa-tion solutions across a wide range of industries, such as the textile, pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries. Another key growth area is the automotive sector, not least because India enjoys an excellent repu-tation among the world’s automobile manufacturers as a highly attractive production location. In addition, the subcontinent is well on the way to becoming one of the world’s biggest automobile markets. As northern India’s only international trade fair for automation technology, Industrial Automation INDIA attracts all the major target customer groups, providing the best possible environ-ment for suppliers to position themselves in this fast growing market.

TURKEY

turkey’s economic boom and strategic location at the crossroads between europe and asia have attracted a lot of attention in recent years and have catapulted the country to 17th place in the worldwide GdP rankings.

No less remarkably, only five EU countries rank ahead of Turkey in the GDP stakes, and, at nine percent, Turkey’s economic growth rate rivaled that of China in 2010 and 2011. Although Turkey’s GDP growth has slowed slightly in recent times, leading economists expect the country to maintain its robust average growth of around five percent in the coming years. Turkey’s trade deficit also represents an opportunity for foreign suppliers of auto-mation solutions because it shows that Turkey is heavily reliant on imports to fuel its economic growth.

For these reasons, companies which exhibit at Otomasyon, one of the four main showcases at the WIN Automation show in Istanbul, can expect to encounter strong pent-up demand.

USA

the repeated tug of war between the country’s two major political parties over the federal debt limit may suggest otherwise, but the us remains the world’s biggest eco-nomic power, and will continue to hold this position for some time to come.

According to IMF estimates, the US will generate a nomi-nal GOP of around 16.2 trillion US dollars this year, which equates to nearly one fifth of the world’s GOP when ad-justed by purchasing power parity. Manufacturing is the US’s second most important industry after the services sector. The country’s surging demand for automation technology is also reflected in its trade deficit resulting from a prolonged period of being a net importer.

For these reasons, exhibitors at next year’s Industrial Automation NORTH AMERICA (lANA) fair in Chicago will be showcasing their solutions right in the heart of one the world’s largest markets for automation tech-nology. 2014 will also mark the first time that Industrial Automation NORTH AMERICA will be staged in Chicago alongside Motion, Drive & Automation (MDA) NORTH AMERICA tradeshow, which celebrates its premiere in 2014. For the second time already, Industrial Automation NORTH AMERICA is a part of IMTS, one of the world’s big-gest industrial technology fairs, giving lANA exhibitors even better exposure to key decision makers.
