The company
History:
1924: Foundation of the company by Ferdinand Schwarz in Düsseldorf-Grafenberg. In 1943/44 the company was moved to Römhild after being com-pletely destroyed in Grabfeld, Thuringia, during the Second World War.
In 2002 the company was bought up by Dirk Becker and Axel Engels and has been extended expediently since that time. The range of products has been enlarged, the internationalisation of the company promoted and the efficiency substan-tially improved.
Industries and branches supplied:
> Automotive industry > Automotive industry suppliers> Chemical industry> Electronics / electrical engineering > Drive technology > Glass > Rubber> Ceramic > Plastic > Air and space travel > Metal working and processing > Pharmaceuticals > Steel > Textile and fibre > Connection technology > and many more areas in industry

Circulating air chamber furnace „KU“ for heat treatment where no combustible sub-
stances are released. Temperature range up to 400 °C.
Circulating air chamber furnace „KUV“ heat treatment, where combustible sub-
stances are released. Temperature range up to 400 °C
Chest furnace with circulating air „TRU“ for heat treatment of heavy and bulky compo-
nents. Temperature range up to 350 °C.
Chest furnace with circulating air „KO“ for temperature treatment in a temperature
range up to 750 °C.
Chest furnace with circulating air „KUH“ for demanding heat treatment. Temperature
range up to 750 °C.
The working principle in common for all the above-mentioned furnaces is primarily the convective heat transfer by means of high capacity blowers in conjunction with the heating system.
Chamber furnaces without circulating air „KOM“ for heat treatment in a temperature range from
800 to 1200 °C.
All ELIOG-kelvitherm products are robust at-tractively designed plants used for manifold heat treatment and drying processes both in industry and in research and development. Modern proc-ess-related and designed control and regulating systems ensure optimal processing sequences. Documentation, charge registration, visualisation and central control and instrumentation technolo-gy in many and varied forms can be also supplied. ELIOG-kelvitherm falls back on the time-tested interchangeable developments in industry and as a consequence avoids being dependent on one system supplier.

CIRCULATING AIR CHAMBER FURNACE – KUFor heat treatment where no combustible substances are released.Temperature range up to 400 °C.
Basic equipment:
Nominal temperatures: 250, 300, 350, 400 °CHeat transfer: ConvectionAir flow: HorizontalHeating: ElectricOuter housing: Self supporting sheet steel construc-
tion, galvanised sheet steel, paint finish to RAL 7035
Inner housing: Aluminised sheet steel. Laterally fitted grid rails for height variable push-in lattice wire hur-dles, grids and shells
Doors: Number dependent upon size of construction, optional left or right door stops, locking by means of drive bar, inside the accessible chamber with emergency unlocking facility, permanently temper-ature resistant seals for all temperature ranges.
Isolation: Mineral wool or fibre compound material (dependent on nominal temperature)
Heating: Round tube heaters in high grade stainless steel.
Air circulating ventilator: Installed in air duct. The air is drawn into the chamber over the heating system and is conducted back into the chamber area after complete turbulence. This principle makes consist-ent temperature distribution possible and prevents the intake of cold external air due to the slight over-pressure prevailing in the chamber.
Temperature sensor: Resistance thermometer inair duct in front of the chamberElectrical execution: In accordance with EN 60 204Switch box: Up to KU 09-06-06 on roof of furnace, in
the case of larger versions optionally to the left at operator level
Control system: Microprocessor regulated tempera-ture controller
Equipment protection: Safety temperature cut-out to protect equipment in heating area
Supplementary equipment(for KU and KUV):
Optional extension of equipment such as re-cessed floor rails, jalousie wall, hurdles, grids, heating shells, platform cars, exhaust air ventila-tors and many more facilities are to be found under

Basic equipment:
Nominal temperatures: 250, 300, 350, 400 °CHeat transfer: ConvectionAir flow: HorizontalHeating: ElectricOuter housing: Self supporting sheet steel construc-
tion, galvanised sheet steel, paint finish to RAL 7035
Inner housing: Aluminised sheet steel. Laterally fitted grid rails for height variable push-in lattice wire hur-dles, gratings and rails
Doors: Number dependent upon size of construction, optional left or right door stops, locking by means of drive bar, emergency unlocking facility in the case of accessible chamber area. Permanently tempera-ture resistant seals for all temperature ranges.
Isolation: Mineral wool or fibre compound material (dependent on nominal temperature)
Heating: Round tube heaters in high-grade stainless steel over the whole depth of the chamber with 30 % higher heating capacity to maintain heat-ing up times constant with increased volume of exhaust air.
Air circulating ventilator: Installed in air duct. The air is drawn into the chamber over the heating system and is conducted back into the chamber area after complete turbulence. This principle makes consist-ent temperature distribution possible and prevents the intake of cold external air as a result of the slight overpressure prevailing in the chamber.
Exhaust air blower: Exhaust air blower increases the exhaust air volume flow to the minimum exhaust air volume level in accordance with EN 1539. As a result of the negative pressure given the fresh unstressed air flows into the system and thins the atmosphere in the furnace to within the permissible solvent concentration. At the end of the main evap-oration phase the exhaust rate can be reduced to 25 % of the minimum exhaust air volume flow.
Temperature sensor: Resistance thermometer in air duct in front of the chamber
Electrical execution: In accordance with EN 60 204
Switch box: Up to KU 09-06-06 on roof of furnace, in the case of larger versions optionally to the left or right at operator level
Control system: Microprocessor regulated tempera-ture controller
Equipment protection: Safety temperature cut-out to protect equipment in heating area
Circulating air and exhaust air volume flow: Monitor-ing of. Direct monitoring by means of differential pressure measurement. The heating system will be switched off should the minimum volume flow rate not be attained (and remains switched off; switch-ing on again is by acknowledgement of irregularity after elimination of the cause of the failure); optical and acoustic signalling of the irregularity.
Door contact switch: exhaust air blower is automati-cally switched on when opening the door.
Supplementary equipment(for KU and KUV):
Optional extension of equipment such as recessed floor rails, jalousie wall, hurdles, grids, heating shells, platform cars, exhaust air ventilators and many more facilities are to be found under
