Chapter Chair’s Message

Dear Yi,

I am extremely pleased to be connecting with you through the second edition of Indore – Yi Connect for the year 2014. Sorry this edition is a bit late.

After the initial months of goal setting and planning we started with the implementation phase. The main objective along with our career counseling sessions being to involve as many members as possible for delivering our goals.

The first members meet with Rakshit Tandon at Quorum, was very useful for most of us.

Kasturbagram plantation- Along with our mentor Mr Ambrish Kela, Mr Pranav Patel, Yi participated in an ambitious project of creating a city forest in 116 acres of land. More than half of the project has already been executed. By next year we should have lush greenery in mostly barren lands.

Quizotainment- Mr Anurag Mundhra floored the students with his wit and humor. There was a huge uproar with 1200 students as audience. A special mention to Yamini and Team IIPS and SOE for their relentless work. Kashmir relief- A project initiated by our Yi National Yuva Chaupal Chair, Mr Anuj Kothari and past CII M.P. State Chairman Mr Ranjan Mimani and executed within 64 hours of initiation , was very satisfying for all of us. This again was team work with many of our members pitching in. Yi Soccer League- It was a pleasure seeing Yi Members playing down in their playing gear. Vaibhav and Girish Agarwal were the main people behind the show. Anupama and Team Acropolis played a beautiful host. A big thank you to all the members who have participated in the events and we look forward to more inputs in the coming months. Together, “We can and we will”. Abhilasha Mimani
