Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (An Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India) Central Vista Mess, Janpath, New Delhi-110 001 The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) announces a Fellowship in the memory of Shri Devendra Swaroop to study “Bhartiya Gyan Parampara” (Indian Knowledge Tradition). The Fellowship will be for a period of two years. Remuneration : Rs. 50,000/= per month Age limit : Maximum 40 years as on last date of receipt of applications Essential Educational Qualifications: Masters of Arts in History/Sanskrit/ Philosophy Essential Experience : Minimum 3 years research experience working with an Institution conducting Research in similar field or Published work of High Standard (at least 5 Papers in reputed Research Journals on the subject) Job Responsibilities : To Study Bhartiya Gyan Parampara (Indian Knowledge Tradition) and Literature & Publication of Shri Devnedra Swaroop. The Fellow will be required to work full time in IGNCA and to submit detailed reports/publications in a time-frame The Eligible Candidates may apply for the above Fellowship by submitting a Curriculum Vitae, providing therein complete details about their age, educational qualifications, experience, copies of 5 Research Papers, along with write-up of 2000 words in Hindi or English on the topic भारतीय ान पररा की अवधारणा एवं मह“The Concept of Indian Knowledge Tradition and its Importance”. Applications will be evaluated by a high powered Committee and decision will be

taken on the basis of its recommendations.

The IGNCA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without

assigning any reasons. The decision of the IGNCA regarding selection and/or

engagement shall be final and binding.
