Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (An Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India) Central Vista Mess, Janpath, New Delhi-110 001 The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) announces a Fellowship in the memory of Shri Devendra Swaroop to study “Bhartiya Gyan Parampara” (Indian Knowledge Tradition). The Fellowship will be for a period of two years. Remuneration : Rs. 50,000/= per month Age limit : Maximum 40 years as on last date of receipt of applications Essential Educational Qualifications: Masters of Arts in History/Sanskrit/ Philosophy Essential Experience : Minimum 3 years research experience working with an Institution conducting Research in similar field or Published work of High Standard (at least 5 Papers in reputed Research Journals on the subject) Job Responsibilities : To Study Bhartiya Gyan Parampara (Indian Knowledge Tradition) and Literature & Publication of Shri Devnedra Swaroop. The Fellow will be required to work full time in IGNCA and to submit detailed reports/publications in a time-frame The Eligible Candidates may apply for the above Fellowship by submitting a Curriculum Vitae, providing therein complete details about their age, educational qualifications, experience, copies of 5 Research Papers, along with write-up of 2000 words in Hindi or English on the topic “भारतीय ान पररा की अवधारणा एवं मह” – “The Concept of Indian Knowledge Tradition and its Importance”.
