The Strange Setting…It is a common convention in a performance type indie rock music video that the band or performer are seen performing in an unusual place or setting. This convention has come about because the indie rock genre is about working class living and sticking to your roots. Because of this, industrial like settings are usually seen such as abandoned buildings and roofs overlooking the city to give the working class feel.
