Conclsion

The Indian oil and gas sector is one of the si coreindustries in India and has very signi*cantforward lin?ages with the entire economy.Government has ta?en many steps to regulate it.
The Steps are also ta?en to increase the
Indigenous oil and gas reserves.
• 6lthough there are few loopholes which should beta?en care of as soon as possible( one maor
drawbac? in the >94 sector is that the 2egulatoryBody 5&G37 does not have any statutory value.
The decisions of the &G3 are merely advisory innature and the Government is not to follow them.
