    National parties are political parties whichparticipate in different elections held all

    over India.

    Criteria:

    Political parties that wish to contestnational elections are required to beregistered by more than three states, to

    declared as a "National party" otherwise,"

    1885-INC was established as a pro-BritishIndian organization.

    1959-The first political party which, was

    seen as challenging the Congresscontinuous rule was Swatantra Party.

    1966-Congress lost its stability

    1969-The Congress split and heropponents established a new Congressparty
