Rec Lax Philosophy

Rec Lax Coaching Philosophy US Lacrosse “Double Goal Coach”:

Winning is important.

Learning life lessons is more important.

Use USL skills learned Parent meeting at beginning of season.

Player teaching and correction techniques.

Create an environment where mistakes are encouraged.

Rec Lax Coaching Philosophy Coaches are Challenged to get better at

their craft. Make lesser skilled players better.

Use positive coaching tools to better the experience for kids, parents, and you.

• Level 1 Clinic - Park Tudor, Indy Feb 1, 9-4pm

• Level 2 Clinic – Springboro HS, Feb 1, 9-4pm

• Level 1 & 2 On-line – Uslacrosse.com (Free)

• US Lacrosse Membership and clinics program will reimburse.

• Reschedules: Any practice shoot me an email for field access

• Safety:

– Protective gear on field at all times; throw/shoot on field only; don’t throw/shoot if someone doesn’t have gear. NO EXCEPTIONS.

– Lightening – Play resume 30mins after last thunder

– Concussion

– Weather: snow/rain and/or under 40 degrees.
