Report

I had an opportunity to present the abstract of my thesis on 17th May 2018 at 4th European Stroke Organizaon Conference held at Gothenburg, Sweden. The tle of my study is "Labetalol Infusion to reduce Blood Pressure Variability and Hematoma Expansion: A Randomized Controlled Study". My abstract was chosen for oral presentaon. The conference was very well organized and successful. Several of the sessions, which I aended had been very informave and insighul. I learned about the new stroke trial discussed over there like WAKE-UP trial and Point trial. I also had an opportunity to share my study with other delegates and take their views. Overall it was a great experience to hear the experts in the field of stroke discussing major clinical trials. I would like to thank my mentors Dr. Jeyaraj D Pandian, (Principal and Professor of Neurology, Chrisan Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana) and Dr. Mahesh P Kate (HOD, Neurology Department) for guiding and helping me in this work.
