“PolyGlaze Tile Adhesive - Floor” is a cementitious ready-

mix powder which is thin-bed and a polymer modified

product. Its unique properties make it ideal for fixing

ceramic tiles, vitrified tiles, mosaic tiles and other floor tiles.

Special Properties of “PolyGlaze Tile Adhesive - Floor” :

~ Preparation is simple, just add water.

~ Although cement based, requires no curing.

~ High tensile adhesion strength.

~ Grouting is possible on the same day.

~ Polymer modified formulation enhances its durability.

~ Being ready to use, the product saves considerable

time and labour.

Areas of Use:

~ To fix floor tiles like ceramic, vitrified, mosaic and

other floor tiles.

Surface Preparation :

The surface should be clean, dry, and free from dust,

grease / oil and other contaminates.

Concrete Floors and Walls :

~ Allow 3 - 4 weeks for concrete to cure, prior to tiling.

Screeds must be 5-7 days old and properly cured.

The surface should be properly levelled for best

results of “PolyGlaze Tile Adhesive - Floor”. Remove

curing compounds, if any, from the surface.

Fibre Cement Sheets:

~ Fibre cement sheets must be primed with water and

all joints must be taped with PVC duct tape and fixed

according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Preparation of “PolyGlaze Tile Adhesive - Floor”:

~ Take a small amount of water in a bucket and gradually

add “PolyGlaze Tile Adhesive - Floor” in it. Mix the

product with water in the ratio of approximately 1:4.

~ Mixing can be done manually or by stirrer.

~ Mixing to be done till homogenous lump free mix is

obtained.

~ After proper mixing, leave the paste for 5-10 minutes

for polymeric dispersion before application.

~ The paste should be kept away from direct sunlight,

heat and used within 45 minutes of preparation (after

mixing with water).

Useful Tips :

~ “PolyGlaze Tile Adhesive - Floor” should be stored in a dry place.

~ It is recommended that when fixing tiles, a minimum spacing of 3mm should be left around each tile.

~ Excess adhesive should be removed using a damp sponge or cloth before material has set.

~ Floors will be ready to receive light foot traffic after 24 hours and can be put into full use after 72 hours.

Although “PolyGlaze Tile Adhesive - Floor” is non-hazardous, following precautions should be adhered:

~ Keep out of reach of the children.

~ Avoid inhalation of dust.

~ In case of contact with eyes, rinse eyes with plenty of water and consult a doctor immediately.

Do’s about “PolyGlaze Tile Adhesive - Floor”:

~ Before fixing the tiles, clean the backsides of these with wet cloth to remove all dust particles.

~ Apply a layer of adhesive on the substrate and spread it by notch trowel.

~ Lay the tiles and press firmly. Then knock properly with rubber hammer in order to spread the adhesive equally and for a good contact.

~ Remove any surplus adhesive on the face of the tiles.

~ Any adjustment should be done within 20 - 30 minutes before adhesive starts hardening.

~ Wait for at least 12 hours before grouting for better contact.

Don’ts about “PolyGlaze Tile Adhesive - Floor”:

~ Avoid very high speed mixing when electric mixing

equipments are used.

Special Properties of “PolyGlaze XT - Flex”:

~ Ready to mix, single component product.



~ It is suitable for both indoor & outdoor use.

~ Very high tensile adhesion strength.

~ It is suitable for heavy duty application with moderate structural movements.

“PolyGlaze White Tile Adhesive” is a thin set, multipurpose,

polymer fortified white adhesive offering vast utility

including applications on interior floors & wall as well as

marble, granite on new / old substrates.

~ Apply mortar to the substrate with the flat side of trowel, pressing firmly to work into surface. Comb on additional mortar with the notched side.


~ Remove any surplus adhesive from the face of the tiles.

~ Any adjustment should be done within 20 - 30 minutes of application and before adhesive start hardening.

~ Wait for at least 12 hours for the setting of tile adhesive before grouting.

Caution :

~ Store above the ground in Dry condition.

~ During cold weather, protect the finished surface from traffic until fully set.

~ Avoid contact with eyes or prolonged contact with skin. In case of irritation, rinse thoroughly with water.

“PolyGlaze Tile Grout” is a single component white cement-based, polymer-modified grout that helps in achieving hard dense joints which are resistant to shrinkage and cracking and can be used to fill tile joints on walls and floors with a minimum width of 1mm to a maximum width of 12 mm for both interior and exterior applications.

Special Properties of “PolyGlaze Tile Grout”:

~ Wide joint bridging.

~ Good Water resistance - can be used both indoor and outdoor tile grouting.

~ Excellent workability, smooth and easy to spread and easy clean-up.

~ Exceptional color stability.

~ Non-shrinking and high stain resistance.

~ Being Polymer modified it enhances durability and helps to achieve a more robust, waterproof and flexible grout finish.

Areas of use :

~ “Polyglaze Tile Grout can be used in conjunction with Polyglaze Tile Adhesive (although not necessary) for grouting all types of Ceramic & Vitrified tiles, Mosaics, Porcelain, Quarry tiles, Bricks, Pavers, Slate and Natural stones. It may be used for interior and exterior- Floor, Wall and Ceilings.

~ Being water resistant, Polyglaze Tile Grout can also be used for grouting wet areas like Swimming pools, power shower enclosures, etc.


~ Ensure the tile adhesive has fully set before grouting. The surface should be clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil, loose materials, adhesive residue and other contaminates. If required, clean the surface with a damp

cloth or sponge.

~ It is advisable to moisten the joints before applying the grout so as to assist the spread of the grout.

Preparation of “PolyGlaze Tile Grout”:

~ Take a small amount of water in a bucket and gradually add “Polyglaze Tile Grout”. Mix thoroughly in the ratio of approximately 3 parts of the product to 1 part of water by volume till a smooth paste is obtained.

~ No further water should be added after final mixing.


~ Protect the paste from direct sunlight, heat and use within 45 minutes of preparation.

Application of “PolyGlaze Tile Grout”:

~ After grout is mixed, use a rubber bottomed grout float to scoop the grout from the bucket.

~ Then completely fill the tile joints with “Polyglaze Tile Grout” with the aid of a rubber grouting trowel diagonally without leaving any void or gaps.

~ Work in small areas at a time. Remove excess grout from the surface as the work proceeds by drawing the float diagonally across the joints. When grouting external areas, protect during and after application.

~ For Initial cleaning, allow 15 minutes for the grout to firm up before cleaning off excess with a damp sponge, rinsing the sponge frequently in between with water.

~ The Final cleaning of the residual grout film on the surface of the tiles can be done using a clean dry cloth for buffing and polishing the tiles.

~ For light traffic flow areas, allow grout to set for approximately 12 hours

~ For best results, use spacers and keep a minimum of 2mm joints between the tiles.

~ Don’t add too much water, it will weaken the grout.

~ Don’t leave any excess moisture on the surface of the grout joints which may cause efflorescence on drying.

“PolyGlaze Jointing Mortar” is a thin bed, high strength, pre-mixed, quality assured mortar comprising of Ordinary Portland Cement, specially graded sand and Polymers. It is specially formulated and easily applied, giving a better bonding with higher air entraining proper ties. “PolyGlaze Jointing Mortar” is a masonry mortar for use in laying various types of fly ash / concrete bricks, AAC blocks and stones. It replaces conventional jointing mortar of 12-18 mm thickness with highly versatile 3 - 4 mm thickness mortar.

Special Properties of “PolyGlaze Jointing Mortar”:

~ Our quick setting proprietary mortar essentially “glues” the block together and the next course is ready to lay within a very short time.

~ Higher bonding strength increases durability and eliminates future maintenance.

Filling the joint :

~ Spread the mortar across the whole surface using the rubber blade of the trowel and work thoroughly into the joints.

Brushing Off :

~ After approximately 10-15 minutes, the mortar should have achieved a semi-dry consistency. Don’t brush this residual mortar into any unfilled joints.

Useful Tips :

~ It should be kept in dry place.

~ Keep out of reach of children.


~ Use proper tools while cutting blocks.

~ Tools should be thoroughly cleaned in water to remove excess materials immediately after use.

Application of “PolyGlaze Jointing Mortar”:

~ Layout the wall you are going to work on and mark openings like door, windows, and any architectural appurtenances, you are including in your design.

~ Put a thin layer of Jointing Mortar in the thickness of 3 to 4 mm on the clean and leveled surface using proper trowel on which the block work is to be carried out. Place the block on the laid jointing mortar in proper line and level.

~ After placing the first block apply the jointing mortar of the same thickness i.e 3-4 mm for both horizontal and vertical joint of the block.

~ Space “mortar boards” about every six feet along the wall, or on each side if the project is small.

~ Brush the face of the brick with a foxtail brush to wipe away excess mortar and finish smoothing the joint.

~ Continue laying the brick with 3-4mm thickness of jointing mortar until you are levelled with the leads you laid up.

"PolyGlaze Jointing Mortar - XT" is a highly polymer modified

masonry mortar for use in laying various types of bricks, AAC

blocks, Panels and stones. It replaces conventional jointing mortar

of 12-18 mm thickness with highly versatile 3-4 mm thickness

mortar. It is a thin bed, high strength, pre-mixed, quality assured

mortar comprising of Ordinary Portland Cement, graded sand and

Polymers. It is specially formulated and easily applied, giving a

better bonding with higher air entraining properties.

“PolyGlaze Plaster” is a strong, durable, pre-mixed

powder suitable for plastering over all types of old or new

conventional clay bricks, fly ash bricks/blocks and Autoclaved

Aerated Concrete blocks(AAC). It is normally applied to

masonry interiors and exteriors to achieve a smooth surface.

Special Properties of “PolyGlaze Plaster”:


~ Lighter than traditional cement- sand site mix mortar.

~ Minimizes cracking and shrinkage.

~ Prevents seepage of water.

~ Fungus resistant.

~ Durable & easy to apply.

~ Saves both manpower and time.

~ Being ready to use, it covers more work per day.

Areas of Use:

~ Under coating and plastering over existing concrete and brick/block walls.

~ Use as a levelling plaster for correction of surface undulation in bare concrete block and other cementitious substrates.

~ Basic levelling of concrete, light weight blocks and bricks.

~ Filling holes and irregularities, levelling walls and ceilings.

~ Create a leveled surface from uneven masonry or concrete wall.


~ Dirt, soil, and roof runoff stains from the surface should be removed.

~ Use a garden hose to loosen the dir t. Start at the top and wash the dirt down the wall.

~ Proper hacking is to be done prior to application in concrete surface.

~ Pre-wet the wall before application.

Preparation of “PolyGlaze Plaster” :

~ Take a small amount of water in a bucket and gradually add “PolyGlaze Plaster” in it. Mix the product with approximately 20% of water.



~ Protect the paste from heat and use within 30 minutes of preparation

Do’s about “PolyGlaze Plaster”:

~ Apply the mix to the surface using a steel trowel in a smooth even motion working from the base of the surface upwards to reduce wastage.

~ Apply the mix with a trowel, followed by a second levelling if required.

~ Once the surface is uniform, level with a wooden/fiber/steel/plastic float to produce a smooth even surface.

~ Water curing for 3-4 days should be carried out prior to any subsequent application depending on the moisture level of the surface.

Useful Tips :

~ “PolyGlaze Plaster” should be stored in a dry place.

Although “PolyGlaze Plaster” is non-hazardous, following precautions should be adhered:



~ Incase of contact with eyes, rinse eyes with plenty of water and consult a doctor immediately.

Don’ts about “PolyGlaze Plaster” :

~ Do not apply straight on to gypsum panels.

~ Do not use in damp areas.

~ Do not add water to make it workable, prepare a fresh

mixture.

“PolyGlaze Wall Putty” is a white cement based putty, ideal for use on concrete/mortar, internal/external walls and Ceilings. It fills the fine pores of mortar/concrete walls and ceilings and provides a white, smooth and dry surface essential for painting. It gives excellent adhesive strength, durability and enhances the life of paints.

Special properties of “PolyGlaze Wall Putty” :

~ It can be applied on both Interior and Exterior surfaces.

~ It does not require any curing.

~ It can be used on new as well as old walls/ceilings.

~ It will give a smooth and glossy finish.

~ Any kind of Paint or Distemper can be applied on it.

~ It prevents the growth of algae and fungi on walls.

~ “Polyglaze Wall Putty” is water and UV resistant.

Application Procedure :

Surface Preparation:

~ Substrate should be clean and free from dust, oil, grease, curing agent, paints, which may affect the adhesion.

~ Remove all the loosely adhered material from the wall surface with the help of emery stone or wire brush and clean water.

~ Properly cure the dry surface with the sufficient quantity of clean water before application of putty.

Mixing of “PolyGlaze Wall Putty”:

~ Take water in bucket and gradually add “PolyGlaze Wall Putty” in it. Mix the product with water in the ratio of approximately 1:3.


~ Mixing to be done till homogenous lump-free paste is obtained.

~ After mixing leave the paste for 5-10 minutes for polymeric dispersion before application.


~ Re-mix the paste again before application.

Application of “PolyGlaze Wall Putty”:

~ Apply the first coat of “PolyGlaze Wall Putty” on already moistened wall surface from bottom to upward direction with the help of putty trowel.

~ Allow the first coat of putty to dry for atleast for 3 hours before application of second coat of putty. Apply the second coat of putty from bottom to upward direction.

~ Allow the second coat to dry completely for 12 hours. The total thickness of coat should not exceed more than 2 mm.

~ Rub the surface very gently with very fine emery paper before application of paint.

Precaution During Usage :

~ Avoid dust inhalation during mixing and handling of “PolyGlaze Wall Putty”.

~ In case of contact with eyes, rinse eye with plenty of water.

~ Keep in a dry place and out of reach of children.

~ People with allergy to cement should take proper precaution

Precautions during Application:

~ Take extreme care in mixing the “PolyGlaze Wall Putty” with hand or mechanical stirrer in order to get best results.

~ Application should be done on fully cured surface.

~ Do not rub “PolyGlaze Wall Putty” harshly with rough emery paper.

~ Total thickness should not be more than 2 mm.

“PolyGlaze Crack ‘O’ Fill ” is a white cement based ready to use mortar for filling the cracks in plastered surfaces. It gives excellent bonding, is easy to apply, water resistant and highly durable. It can be used for the Repairing of internal cracks in plastered surfaces up to 3 mm width & 3 mm depth.

Features & Benefits:

~ Application – Easily applicable by putty knife like conventional putties.

~ Adhesion – Excellent adhesion to common building substrates other than glass.

Method of Application:

~ Clean the crack from any kind of dust, loose par ticles, grease, oils, wax, polish etc.

~ The edges of the cracks/joints should be neat & sound. Make sure the surface is free from puddle of water.

~ Moisten the crack-surface before applying Crack ‘O’ Fill Paste.

~ Fine hairline cracks must be widened up to 1 mm minimum followed by filling.

~ For filling Crack ‘O’ Fill Paste on the internal surface - existing painter’s putty or POP must be removed till plaster surface is exposed.

~ For porous surfaces, apply primer coat prepared with Crack ‘O’ Fill Paste & water in 1:1 propor tion over the crack. Fill Crack ‘O’ Fill Paste when the surface is moist but not completely dry.

~ Press Crack ‘O’ Fill Paste into the cracks using a putty knife. Level the surface with a putty knife to get smooth & clean surface.

~ Care must be taken to avoid formation of cavities/bubbles during application.

~ Further coat of Crack ‘O’ Fill Paste is undertaken after 24 hours of the application, when the first coat of Crack ‘O’ Fill Paste is completely cured.

~ Painter’s putty or POP can be used once it is fully dry.

~ For best results allow Crack ‘O’ Fill Paste to cure for 3 - 4 days.

Preparations of “PolyGlaze Repair Mortar”

~ Take a small amount of water in a bucket and gradually add “PolyGlaze Repair Mortar” in it. Mix the product with water in the ratio of approximately 1:4.





Application of “PolyGlaze Repair Mortar”:

Laying bricks/blocks :

~ Put a thin layer of PolyGlaze Repair Mor tar in the thickness of 3 - 4 mm on the clean and leveled surface using proper trowel on which the block work is to be carried out.

~ After placing the first block apply the PolyGlaze Repair Mortar of the same thickness i.e. 3 - 4 mm for both horizontal and vertical joint of the block.

Precaution & Limitations:

~ Cannot be used for crack size of more than 12 mm.

~ Not usable in cracks of structural membranes, expansion joints & separation gaps.

~ Not suitable for the cracks in POP walls.

~ Don’t reuse the brushed off material.

Filling the Cracks/Joints :

~ All substrate should be clean and free from dust, oil, grease, curing agents, paints, which may affect the adhesion.

~ Wet the substrate before the application, without leaving excess water.

~ Spread the PolyGlaze Repair Mortar across the whole surface using the trowel and work thoroughly into the cracks. Make sure the crack should not be more than

12 mm.

Minor Plastering :

~ Pre wet the surface before starting the plastering work. Spread the PolyGlaze Repair Mortar on the surface and then level the surface using leveler for smooth finish.
