INTRODUCTION Sometimes we feel that life is like a
revolving chair. It revolves, & then comes back to its original position. In the same way we talk a lot about Women Empowerment. A question always strikes us, Have we achieved what we are talking? The answer is merely No…. No….
A lot of efforts & deliberations are needed to change the mindset of the society because the society is formed by us. Here, we have tried to bring out the identification of the women under our title of the story “A LADDER TO CLOUD NINE”.
The WHYS to ponder…• The issues which usually bother us: • Suppressed emotions of women at
home • Women’s ignorance in decision making
in domestic and social affairs • Financial dependency • Narrow - minded scenario of the society
related to status of women
Brainstorming SessionAfter that we all friends had a Brainstorming Session. In that session we openly discussed the problems faced by women, what we feel, and shared the changes that we can bring.
Conveying our feelings… We conveyed our feelings in the
following ways:• We made a script based on the
problems of women and their solutions and presented our thoughts in the form of Nukkad Natika (Street Play).
• We made posters and wrote poems.
• We took an oath to put efforts to maintain the dignity, respect and reputation of the women in our family, society and nation.

The Convention…
Nari Shakti Ko Pehchano A rally was taken out on “Nari Shakti” to
convey our thoughts and the change we expect from our family and society through posters, articles and poems written by us.
An orientation session was conducted for the female ancillary members of the staff to create awareness about opening a bank account & savings with the help of resource person from Axis bank- Ms. Kinjal Shah.
We helped them to open their bank account under Prime Minister’s ‘Jan Dhan Yojana’, with the help of bank employee and the office (Admin) staff of the school.
A Solemn Resolve
Ancillary Staff with the Resource Person
We know that it is very difficult to fulfill the challenge but every morning is a new beginning. So, let us join our hands to empower the women of our Nation.
A Ray of Hope ….Udaan With our efforts we have tried to bring
change in the mindset of the people. Our parents, family friends and teachers shared the same with the other members of the society. We tried to build a chain about women’s dignity with ‘I, Me and Myself’.
This is just a beginning to the ladder to cloud nine ….
