How Peer Group Affects Children

A group of children from outside the school exerted influence on some students in middle school. They in turn started to collect money from younger students by threatening them. The matter thus reported to the counsellor was handled by bringing in the parents of the concerned students and through counselling they were made to understand the problem and get out of it. Through strict vigilance and channelized guidance by school authorities, the children outside the campus were dissuaded from frequenting the area.

How Peer Group Can Affect Children Positively

An affair between two students was reported. With the help of their friends and the counsellor the matter was brought to light. The friends played an important role in helping them to realize that they should come out of it.Finally, the peer group, the parents and the school helped the two students to resolve the matter.
