BUSINESS SCHOLARS PROGRAMHigh achieving Lubar students will be invited to enroll in Bus Adm 231, the Scholars version of Bus Adm 230 Introduction to Information Technology Management. In this freshmen class, a student can get a sense of what a Scholars course is like. If the student later applies to the Scholars Program and is admitted, this course can be counted as 3 of the 23 required credits in Scholars courses.

A few of the highlights of Wisconsin’s premier program for high achieving students include:

• Smaller class size and instruction from the Lubar School’s top faculty—fostering student interaction and individual attention.

• Additional scholarships, corporate field trips, and other opportunities to connect academic excellence with career ambitions.

• An assigned academic advisor to aid in designing individual degree plans.

HONORS COLLEGEAs Lubar School of Business incoming freshmen, students may receive an invitation to join the UWM Honors College. Lubar Students are able to pursue those requirements as well as a Business degree and graduate within a four year timeline. LIVING LEARNING COMMUNITY FOR BUSINESSOn the UWM campus, many freshmen are invited to join a Living Learning Community while residing in one of the residence halls. It is an exciting way to live on-campus and meet fellow students within an academic area of interest. Lubar Direct Admit students that take advantage of this opportunity will still be eligible to apply to the Scholars program and fulfill all Business degree requirements in a timely fashion.
