Thank you very much for a wonderful workshop. I think
it will help us a lot with helping our learners who
experience barriers to learning and development. I am so
excited to have you as a partner to help bring back the
dignity to the learners, who felt that they are on outcast
outside there, together we will bring back the confidence
they deserve.

Inclusion, Special Needs &
Barriers to Learning Course
This workshop clarifies the importance and vision of building capacity and strengthening the Department of Education’s inclusion policy for students with learning
challenges and the range of benefits for learner and educator alike when applied in a an education classroom management situation.
This workshop deals with the Screening, Identification, Assessment and Support of students in a higher learning context. The thrust of the workshop is centred
on the identification and understanding of the range as well as possible origins of classroom and learning challenges and how classroom practitioners can respond
to the learning needs of a diverse population of students.
The workshop for education practitioners in a higher education context examines interactive and life-changing hands-on, practical ,achievable classroom and home-
based interventions - that aid in the reduction (and often lead to the elimination) of learning challenges for most learners. The focus throughout the workshop is to
awaken a sense of personal passion within the education practitioner – a feeling often experienced as dormant, vacant or distant. The stages of personal
development within are described as “The Educational Stairs of Personal Passion” – a series of emotions that are skilfully seeded and flowered within workshops
delegates:
The Educational Stairs of Personal Passion are:
The First Level: (Re) Discover your own Personal Education
Passion
The Second Level: Making it Real. Making an emotional
connection , understanding disillusionment and negativity and by
making your passion special, exciting, intense and appealing.
The Third Level: Take giant a leap, discovering and rediscovering
the reason, rebuilding knowledge and be-humbling oneself
because nothing ventured, means nothing gained. Digging deeper
and commit to life-long learning.
The Fourth Stage: Sustaining your Positive Passion: “Yes, we
can”
“Wow! This was an excellent workshop at the right time
of the year. It came as a “spark” that is going to
“sparkle” for the rest of my life as an educator!”
