While on patrol I conducted a traffic stop due to expired license plates. The traffic

stop was conducted in the 1900 block of Broadway. The vehicle was a red 2002 Acura

bearing expired NE license plate 21-BL72. The vehicle was south bound at the time of the

violation. The driver of the vehicle verbally identified herself as AnNa Pruneda and

provided a Permanent Resident ID Card bearing the same name. The Communications Center

advised Pruneda currently had a suspended NE driver's license. Pruneda was issued a

citation for Driving Under Suspension, No Valid Registration, and No Proof of Insurance.

Pruneda was then released from the scene.

advised that there was a white mid-sized car driving around with no plates. I arrived in

the area and located a white Mitsubishi with no plates or in transit stickers. I activated

my emergency lights in the 1700 block of Avenue X. The vehicle did not stop until pulling

in to the driveway of 2414 W.15th Street. A male later identified as Ignacio Felix was

driving the vehicle. A check of his driving privileges indicated his privileges were

revoked. Felix was issued a citation and released.

718 16th Ave. The Department of Health and Human services were contacted to coordinate a

visit with the involved family. DHHS notified police that the involved children reside

outside the city of Scottsbluff and a visitation arrangement had been made between DHHS

and the family. DHHS advised police assistance was not needed at this time.

On 5/29/14 while on selective patrol I stopped a silver Plymouth Voyager for no plates in

the 400 block of West 20th street. I ran the driver Ricardo Garcia through the

communications center and it came back that he had an active Sarpy County warrant. The

warrant was confirmed through the communications center and Garcia was handcuffed, double

locked, and checked for fit. He was transported to Scotts Bluff County Jail without incident. Document #476311

On Tuesday 05/27/14 at 1240hrs. Sgt. Kite assigned me a NE CAN that he had received from

Omaha Project Harmony INTAKE 543413. ALLEGATIONS: Domestic assault and parents leaving

infant with no one to watch. This investigation was also assigned to Shaylee Jobman with

DHHS/Gering. We went to address listed on intake and family has been evicted. Jobman

located mother and infant later that evening and infant is ok and mother has made other

housing arrangements. Nothing further at this time.

Joshua Larez. Joshua Larez was confirmed to have a local warrant. When I attempted to

handcuff Larez he fled on foot and was later found. Larez was jailed for his warrant and new charges.
