Become a NCCL Member through the Archdiocese
The National Conference for Catechetical Leadership (NCCL) promotes catechesis andevangelization in the Church and enhances the ministerial effectiveness of its members. For moreinformation on NCCL Membership visit the NCCL website. Parish Catechetical Leaders (PCLs) can become NCCL members as part of ourArchdiocesan Membership.
If you serve in a parish in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, in a catechetical leadership role,you may now enroll as a member and receive all benefits, at a greatly reduced cost.PCLs include directors or coordinators of religious education, faith formation, youthministry, child ministry, evangelization, adult formation, and so on.During 2019, membership through the Archdiocese is available for a $24 contribution toNCCL, instead of the normal membership fee of $102.
To join NCCL:
1. Register through the Archdiocese by using the link below. Provide contact information andsubmit.
2. Once your PCL status is verified, you will receive instructions for activating yourmembership via the NCCL website. It will be on the NCCL webpage that you will pay the$24 contribution.

The National Catholic Youth Conference(NCYC) in Indianapolis in November2019. NCYC is an exciting, biennial three-dayexperience of prayer, community, andempowerment for Catholic teenagers and theiradult chaperones.
Now is the time for groups to sign up through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to attend theconference. Once you have determined your total number of participants (youth and adult),please complete the Initial Group Registration Form online and send the $125 per person depositto us before the April 26th deadline. Reach Out Reach In - July 14-19, 2019
Reach Out Reach In is a local summer service week, sponsored by the Archdiocese ofMilwaukee, for teens aged 15 through 18, who have completed 9th grade and who want to beinvolved in direct service and social action. The sites, located around the Archdiocese ofMilwaukee, include homeless shelters, adult day care, community organizations, meal programs,organic farms, child care and more. The experience includes community, simple living, prayer,and justice education. The cost is reasonable ($250; $265 after April 30th).

2019 Safe Environment Week
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. We as a Catholic Church participate in this month byrenewing and drawing awareness to our commitment to preventing child abuse in our parishes,schools, families, and communities. This year Safe Environment Week will be held April 29th -May 5th. The Safe Environment Week Resource Guide is now available. Please read through theintroductory letter and provide this resource to anyone at the parish/school that will assist you inimplementing Safe Environment Week in your parish/school. There is a checklist in the resource guide that helps guide you in what is suggested for yourparish/school to do in order to raise awareness for Safe Environment efforts. The guide isstructured to provide you with options that will allow your parish/school to choose what ways ofraising awareness will be most effective for your community.

Bishops are available to confirm in2020 beginning January 9, 2020, and continuing through March 29, 2020. Patch can be earned byyoung people in grades 1st - 12th by completing the activities that help them learn about thehistory of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. This is a great activity for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts,youth groups, classes, families or any young Catholics. Adults who assist youth withrequirements and activities are eligible to earn the patch as well. When requirements arecomplete, patches are purchased online through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
