Head upstairs to the first floor where you’ll find the White Room and Den. These rooms are available as separate spaces or in their

entirety for larger events. We can help you host your cocktail party, corporate or private dining event.

COCKTAIL PARTY

White Room is an old world space infused with fresh, contemporary touches and a neutral palette ideal for exclusive events.

Specially fitted screens are available to create smaller spaces ensuring the best ambience for the event. Guests have privilege to a private bar and personal waiter with the option of an open or limited bar tab or allowing guests to purchase on consumption.

The sophistication of White Room is complemented by the adjoining space, the Den. This sultry room is a comfortable and informal area ideal for groups happy to share the space with other guests of the venue. Wristbands can be provided to parties wanting access to a bar tab. This space attracts no room hire fee or minimum spend requirement.

Enjoy exclusive use of the entire floor, incorporating both the White Room and Den, with the privilege of your own bar, bathrooms and a waiter should you require canapés.

CORPORATE EVENTS

The White Room and Den combined offers the ideal space for corporate lunches, presentations and meetings.

You will have exclusive use of the first floor accommodating a seated conference for up to 25 guests or theatre style for up to 30.

Audio Visual outlets are available for projectors and microphones. Should you require AV equipment you are welcome to coordinate your own or ask us to arrange hire and setup for you.

Our beer garden is a refuge from the frenzy of Victoria Street and designed for year-round access. Partially undercover and with overhead heaters, guests can be comfortable throughout Melbourne’s fickle weather.

This is a casual space which, for the benefit of our locals, operates on a 1st-in 1st-serve basis. We encourage our beer garden guests to arrive early to claim their own table however for those who prefer a secure booking we can reserve an area for an arrival by 6pm with a minimum catering order from our cocktail party menu.

MUSIC

Aviary Hotel’s DJs play an eclectic mix of contemporary tunes with homage to the ways of the retro and funky. 9pm-1am every Friday and Saturday.

‘Sunday Soul Sessions’ are hosted by King 7 and Vince Peach spinning vinyl from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Every Sunday from 4pm they bring you vintage soul, funk and original R&B.

With advance notice we can coordinate a DJ for your event outside their regular hours.

PARKING

Victoria Street has paid parking during the day and is a clearway 4pm-7pm on weekdays. Free parking is available in surrounding streets however please be aware some streets are permit only after 5pm.

PUbLIC TRANSPORT

We are very conveniently situated close to North Richmond train station and the 109 tram, stop 19, which travels to and from the city. Taxis are readily available on Victoria Street with an unofficial taxi stop located across the street.
