Policies and Procedures

Food and Beverage

The Group Dining and In Suite Events Manager is the main contact for all planning and on-site details involving

Catering in the suite function arrangements.

A final detailed request is due to the In -Suite Events Manager no later than 5 days prior to the suite arrival date. All

In -Suite Event Orders are to be completed, signed and returned to your Events Manager (3) business days prior to

your event(s). Customized menus may be arranged directly through your In -Suite Events Manager. All prices, taxes,

service charges and similar charges are current and are subject to change without notice. All prices exclude the

current sales tax and service charges. In Suite food & beverage prices are subject to a 20% gratuity which is

nontaxable and sales tax at the prevailing rate, currently 8.25%

Orders within 72 hours

Events booked within a 72-hour period (3 business days) prior to service will incur an additional fee of $100 or 3%

whichever is greater.

Food and Beverage

In compliance with Clark County Health District food handling regulations, food must be consumed on the hotel

premises during the contracted event time.

In compliance with the Health district and Nevada liquor laws, please be advised that all liquor, beer, wine, and food

must be purchased through your In- Suite Event Manager.

All guests must be 21 years of age or over before alcoholic beverages are permitted to be served.

All perishable food items will be removed from suite within 3 hours.

Outside Food & Beverage

Outside food and beverage is strictly prohibited.

If an outside licensee brings food or beverages into the suite, a corkage fee, a 20% gratuity and tax at the prevailing

rate of 8.25% will be assessed according to the schedule below:

Guarantee Guarantees for all functions must be given to your In -suite Event Manager by 9am PST (3) business days prior to

your In-Suite event(s). If notice would fall on a holiday, then guarantees must be received by the first working day

prior to the holiday. If your guarantee is not received, you will be charged with a guarantee equal to the expected

number set forth on the Banquet Event Order or the number of people served, whichever is greater.

There will be no rebates for any food items or returned bottles of liquor, beer, wine, juices, soda and water.

Payment arrangements shall be made in advance of the function unless credit has been established with the hotel.

Debit cards are discouraged.

• Any events 46 – 60 guests - $250

Additional labor charges below may apply where applicable

• Scheduled food and beverage replenishments carry a $25 minimum order plus tax and gratuity.

• Please schedule your food and beverage replenishment times with your Events Manager.

• Dedicated Chefs, Servers or Bartenders are $225 per (4) hour period. Additional hours are $50 each.

• Dedicated Servers and Bartenders are required for all liquor, beer and wine functions over 30 guests

• Elevator Attendant $85 per hour with a 3-hour minimum or $500 per day

Suite Guidelines

Suites are to be utilized in their existing condition. Mandalay Bay and Delano do not permit furniture to be removed

or re-arranged unless approved and facilitated by Hotel

Mandalay Bay/Delano has the right to restrict entrance to any suite event due to maximum occupancy or safety issue

or where any guest may be negatively impacted.

We encourage the use of our suites for entertaining and meeting purposes. Exhibiting and displays in suites, foyers

and hallways are prohibited unless pre-approved by Hotel. Machinery may not be exhibited in the suites. Freight,

oversized boxes or crates may not be brought up to guest room floors.

Access

For all groups, members of the In-Suite Event and In Room Dining hotel management team will be permitted to

access the suites throughout the duration of the event from set up to tear down to monitor food and drink operations,

communicate with the client and or service staff and monitor the condition of the suite and their contents

Additional Tables and Chairs

Additional chairs and or tables may be arranged through your In- Suite Event Manager.

Signage and Decoration

Signage or displays of any kind are not permitted in hallways or foyers and nothing may be adhered to guest room

doors. Display Signs and or decorations inside the suite that are taped, or otherwise affixed to any walls, ceilings or

floors may not be used unless Mandalay Bay/Delano has provided written approval for such items. If approved, the

client agrees to be responsible for any damage caused to equipment in the suite. Clark County Fire department does

not permit any easels or signage in guest hallways.

Cancellation Policy

Any change to or cancellation of an event must be communicated to your In-Suite Event manager a minimum of (3)

business days prior to start time of the event. The number submitted shall constitute a guarantee, not subject to

reduction and charges will be made accordingly. Should the client not notify Mandalay Bay/Delano of a guaranteed

number of guests, the hotel shall utilize the expected number as the final guarantee.

In Suite Audio Visual

Contact your In-Suite Event Manager for details.

Non-Compete Clause

If your Booking Event is found to conflict with a Mandalay Bay In-House Event group's

non-compete clause, your event will be cancelled, and deposit forfeited.

Outside Décor/Lighting/Smoke and Music

• Equipment of this type is not permitted without prior written approval from your In-Suite Event manager.

• Noise that could be disturbing to nearby guests is not permitted. Suites are not to be used for events that include DJ’s, Bands and loud music. Sound must be contained by keeping all suite doors closed. All in room events must end by 11pm.

Suite Reservation and Lobby Attendant

• Room/Suite numbers are available on the day of check-in. Suite numbers will not be issued in advance.

• You may contact the PBX Supervisor to give permission for the room/ suite number to be given out to guests for your event.

• Client to provide liaison at lobby elevator bank to assist guests with access to suite; Guest elevator access is limited via key card and only allows access to each guest's respective floor. Attendants available for hire at a rate of $85 per hour with a 3-hour minimum or $500 per day, please inquire.

• If using an attendant provided by the hotel, guest list must be submitted to [email protected] at least 48 hours in advance.

• Attendant is only available when booking food and beverage in a suite.

Check In /Check Out

Standard hotel check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Standard checkout time is 11:00 a.m.

All rooms are subject to 3:00 p.m. check-in and cannot be guaranteed prior to this time. In-suite events are not

available prior to 5:00 p.m. on day of reservation arrival due to required cleaning and setup time.

Guest Disclaimer

• Client agrees to all terms and conditions set forth upon signing the In-Suite Order. All prices are guaranteed 30 days out from function date.

• All suites must be booked by the clients directly. Food and Beverage prices do not include daily suite rates.

• Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of hotel management to complete the same

and is subject to the following: Labor disputes or strikes, accidents, government restrictions (federal, state and local), travel restrictions involving food, beverages or supplies and any other causes beyond the control of management which may prevent the hotel from completing the agreement.

• Mandalay Bay /Delano shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury that may occur to the client, the client’s guests or invitees or to their property from any cause whatsoever, prior to, during or following the use of the facilities.

• This facility handles and prepares foods containing Nuts, Tree Nuts, Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Soy, Wheat and Dairy products. Cross contamination is possible
