General Introduction

Compressed air is an essential source of energy that is widely used throughout industry. However compressed air will contain water, dirt and wear particles, bacteria and even degraded lubricating oils. Mixed together this forms an unwanted abrasive sludge that damages, blocks and causes excessive wear to pneumatic equipment.

Oil free compressor’s may partially solve the problem with the elimination of oil, but all the other harmful substances will sti l l be present.

The REVOLUTION range of micro fi lters removes all contaminates ensuring clean instrument quality air.

The REVOLUTION range compressed air fi lters are divided into five grades:

GRADE PFCoarse Pre-Filtration for general use.Particle removal down to 25 microns

GRADE ARGeneral Purpose Dust Filtration.For the removal of dust particles down to 1 micron.

GRADE ACSActivated Carbon Filtration.For the removal of oil vapour and hydrocarbon odours giving a maximum remaining oil content of <0.003 mg/m (<0.003 ppm) @ 21ºC. (Precede Grade ACS with Grade AA filter).

GRADE AAHigh Efficiency Oil Removal Filtration.For the removal of particles down to 0.01 micron including water and oil aerosols, providing a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.01 mg/m³ @ 21ºC. (Precede with Grade AO filter)

GRADE AOHigh Efficiency filtration.For the removal of particles down to 1 micron including liquid and oil coalescing applications.Provides a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.1 mg/m³ @ 21ºC.
