Aztec Short-Term Plan

Tombstone Silver-Gold Project

CRD Silver-Lead-Zinc-Copper-Gold potential in Arizona, USA

Regional Geology, Deposits, Mineral Belts

Mission Discovery

➢ Arizona Mining acquired the small, historic Hermosa Silver district, discovered the

massive Taylor deposit below and beyond the lead-zinc-silver veins, and attracted a

$1.8 billion take-over by South 32. Tombstone is one of the nearest historic silver

district with Taylor potential

Overview

➢ The Tombstone Mining District is located 65 miles southeast of Tucson, Arizona, accessed by State Highway 80 about a 1.5 hour drive from Tucson, and it is the home of the famous “Shoot-out at the OK Corral”

➢ Discovered in 1877 and became known for its high grade, oxidized, carbonate replacement deposits (“CRD”) of silver-gold-lead mineralization hosted in veins, mantos, pipes and disseminated orebodies.

➢ Much of the richest silver and gold production in the district came from the Grand Central and Contention Mines, located on Aztec’s properties

➢ Historic underground oxide ore grades in the district reportedly averaged 26 oz per ton (“opt”) silver, equal to 892 grams per tonne (“gpt”), 0.21 opt (7.2 gpt) gold and 2.25% lead

➢ Shallow historic drill intercepts: 44.2m @ 1.61 gpt gold and 91.2 gpt silver in TR-001, 9.14 meters of 5.38 gpt gold and 181.7 gpt silver in TR-033, both holes in Contention Pit. (See appendix for further info on historic drilling)

Mission Discovery

District Geology, Mines and Property

Mission Discovery

➢ Most historic silver mines (red squares) at Tombstone are found along structures (red

lines) cross cutting the fault bounded Bisbee Group sediments (light-grey-blue-pink),

Taylor-type CRD potential lies below the old mines of the Bisbee group within the

underlying Paleozoic limestones.

Contention Pit & Old Underground Mines

Mission Discovery

High Grade Grab

12.3 gpt Au

839 gpt Ag

➢ Old timers mined out the highest grade veins around the turn of the 19th century, then

Tombstone Development Company built and operated the Contention open pit on

lower grade stockworks in the early 1980s, material left behind by the historic miners

Tombstone Targets

➢ Shallow oxide silver-gold mineralization remains in pit walls and floor, historic resource estimate 1.2 million tons grading +2 gpt gold equivalent which would now be considered high grade open pit material – Aztec has not verified this historic resource and is not relying on it

➢ Shallow drill targets left open-ended, follow-up surface exploration now underway, lots of room for expansion

➢ New trench and channel sampling should highlight and enhance near surface targets, develop deep targets and better understanding of mineralized structures

➢ Most historic mining conducted within the upper stratigraphic sequence, the Bisbee Group sedimentary package. The extensive and underlying limestone were barely explored prior to underground mine flooding in 1918

➢ CRD potential in the underlying limestones is thought to be very good not only under the Contention Pit , but also potentially to the south, east, and north

➢ Historic drilling by Santa Fe Mining from 1988-1990 targeted for CRD mineralization and encountered narrow high grade intercepts such as 0.5’ of 31 opt Ag, 0.8% Cu, 3.2% Pb, 17.3% Zn and 1.0’ of 13.42 opt Ag, 5.1% Pb, 3.7% Zn and 23’ of 6.4 % Pb, 2.57% Zn

Mission Discovery

Historic Production & Drilling

Mission Discovery

➢ Discovered in 1877, production ran from 1878 to 1939, 32M ozs silver from 1.5M tons plus 240,000 ozs of gold, 65M lbs of lead, 2.5M lbs of copper and 1.1M lbs of zinc

➢ Historic underground oxide ore grades averaged 26 oz per ton (“opt”), 892 grams per tonne (“gpt”), silver, 0.21 opT (7.2 gpt) gold and 2.25% lead

➢ In 1980, open pit, heap leach mining commenced at the Contention Pit until 1985, then intermittently until 1989

➢ Santa Fe Pacific Mining conducted exploration drilling west and north of the current property in the late 1980’s

➢ Their drilling targeted deep CRD sulphides, encountering thin high grade mantos in favorable limestone units such as 0.30 meters of 879 pt Ag, 0.81% Cu, 3.2% Pb, and 17.3% Zn and another hole with 7.16 meters of 32.3 gpt Ag, 0.6% Cu, 6.54% Pb, and 2.6% Zn

➢ USMX drilled 24,115 feet (7,350 meters) in 86 RC drill holes in 1993, one of their better drill intercepts assayed 1.61 gpt gold and 91.2 gpt silver over 44.2 meters length in hole TR-001 with another hole encountering 30.5 meters @ 2.65 gpt gold and 37.6 gpt silver in TR-041

Geology of Tombstone & Taylor➢ Potential high-grade, bulk tonnage carbonate replacement deposits (“CRD”) could lie below the

Bisbee Group in the underlying Paleozoic limestones, a geologic setting similar to the Taylor deposit of Arizona Mining, located only 65 kilometers southwest of Tombstone, who recently completed a CAD$1.8 billion friendly take-over by South 32

➢ Tombstone contains several oxidized “manto” replacement silver-lead-copper-gold-zinc oxide bodies that were exploited to depths of 500 feet (150 meters) before encountering the water table, then mostly sulphides the old-timers could recover to 1,000 feet (300 meters) before the water pumps failed twice and the mines flooded

➢ High grade manganese-silver mantos and veins are peripheral to the gold-silver rich Contention Pit at Tombstone and strong lyindicative of zoning seen in large CRD manto deposits worldwide

➢ Historic deep drilling at Tombstone by Santa Fe, west and north on our property, encountered narrow but high grade CRD mineralization, proving the potential for a larger CRD system

➢ Historic mining near Taylor focused on shallow high grade polymetallic (lead-zinc-copper-silver) oxide and Trench/Josephine vein ores and silver-manganese rich replacement deposits at Hermosa

➢ The polymetallic veins above and lateral to the Taylor Deposits were exhausted at depth capacity, recent deeper drilling discovered the Taylor massive sulphide CRD deposits

***The Bisbee Copper Queen CRD is 33km to the southeast and historically mined 53.0MT @ 5.5% Cu, 62 gpt Ag, and 1.4 gpt Au from Paleozoic carbonates between 1880 and 1975, excluding the porphyry copper-gold deposit

Mission Discovery

Taylor CRD Discoveries and Historic Veins

Mission Discovery

➢ Shallow Polymetallic veins and oxide replacements are the upper expression of the

deeper polymetallic massive sulfide replacement orebodies

Porphyry and CRD Model, Tombstone

Mission Discovery Model modified from Sillitoe, 2010

➢ Phase 1 CAD$139,000 exploration program of structural and geological mapping, soil and rock sampling, trenching and airborne geophysical surveying

➢ Detailed surface structural mapping and geochemical sampling program to build a models for shallow and deep targeting

➢ Conduct trench sampling where it will enhance drill targets, USMX drill area, and southern part of Contention Pit, trenching program

➢ Transform hard copy data into digital data and digitize underground workings into 3-D format to complement surface geology for enhanced evaluation and advancement

➢ Conduct airborne magnetic-radiometric geophysical survey to refine drill targets

➢ Evaluate peripheral targets that meet similar target concept
