In 1993, Lorraine and Nancy, Jean Cordier ’s daughters,took over the reins of Château Talbot. Enriched with theknowledge and experience of past generations, theyformed a team who animated this Grand Cru for morethan 15 years with all the talent and respect that itdeserved.

Then in 1999, Lorraine Cordier acquired Château Sénéjac:a new impulse to elevate the wines to the best Médoccrus.

Today, Nancy Bignon Cordier, her husband Jean-PaulBignon and their children pursue the history of ChâteauTalbot and Château Sénéjac.

Château Sénéjac is one of the better known Crus Bourgeois sinceit was already part of this Medoc classification in 1932.

The vineyard of Sénéjac is on a plateau overlooking the town ofPian. Ancient barony, Nicolas de Blois was its first owner in theXVIth century. Then in 1999 the château became the property ofLorraine Cordier, also owner of Château Talbot, Grand Cru ClasséSaint Julien, and a new impulse was given in the vineyard inorder to matchthe best Crus from the Médoc.

Today, this is her sister Nancy Bignon-Cordier and her family whoare leading this estate.
