Find more in: www.imvf.org For more than a decade (since 1999), IMVF works in Global Citizenship Projects having expertise in the following areas: FORMAL EDUCATION Acknowledging the key role of teachers in Global Citizenship Education, IMVF works with teachers in several schools from all over the country and in universities using innovative methodologies and addressing several sustainable development themes. In former projects IMVF has worked closely with members of the National Parliament, civil servants and also with members of the European Parliament, never forgetting the important role that Local Authorities play in the promotion of a more just and sustainable world. Global Education is one of the core intervention areas that IMVF has been working in since 1999. orking in Europe, fostering partnerships with other non-state actors, local authorities and international policy makers, exchanging best practices in such diverse areas as (gender equality) Socially Responsible Public Procurement or Policy Coherence for Development, IMVF uses innovative methodologies, investing in awareness raising, campaigns and social advocacy. Sharing field expertise gathered from years working in Developing Countries, a motivated, committed and creative team is engaged towards the creation of a global society.
