Linkages of sitapuri Sita puri is small slum area situated near Nangloi Jat, West Delhi, New Delhi.Aslumis a heavily populated urban informal settlement characterized by substandard housing and squalor. It is governed by Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Indira Gandhi international airport and the New Delhi railway station are linked through metro, with a bus stop which is 450 meters away and metro station 1.3 kms away.

Physical infrastructureWater supply Delhi Jal Board suplies water.The water suplied is salty and not used for drinking.Residents use uv water filters for purifying the water but he people who can't aford the purifers consume directly and results inpeople wind up with severe dehydration.The quantiy of water suplied is 135lpcd.The timings of suply is not fixed to particular time (sometimes the water is suplied at he od times like 1 am-4am).Solid Waste Management

Door-to-door facility is not provided.

1 dhalao is provided near the entrance ofthe village.

People throw waste in the sewer lanes oneither side of road.

The dustbins which are to be provided in thevillage are being dumped in the backyard ofMCD office

The substation is atDabri Mor Pankha Road.There are no iregular power cuts and it isbeing suplied 24 hours.The low income houses borow electricityfrom the other residents in the neighborhodby paying them.

observations There is no market or the convenience shopping provided in the area, people go outside the area to buy daily goods and some of them depend on the local shops.There is a Primary School present in the area. whereas there is no Senior Secondary School but there is a space for the construction of Secondary School.
