From its assertive rear spoiler with roof vane to the front

underside, the aerodynamic intent and purpose of the
Impreza WRX STI is absolutely clear. Its exclusive Driver’s
Control Centre Differential (DCCD) system, that consists of
both an electromagnetic and a mechanical LSD, distributes
the engine torque to the front and rear wheels from 41:59 to
50:50 by monitoring the driver’s likely cornering path with
the help of various sensors. This advanced AWD power-train,
front helical LSD and rear TORSEN* LSD, all provide the utmost
balance for a more dynamic drive with greater agility, stability
and traction. It not only grips the road but also the heart and
soul of your driving life – like nothing else can.

The PowerSUBARU BOXER 2.5-litre DOHC turbo*
This is the proven strength, the heart and soul of the WRX
STI’s rally-bred genes. This evolution of the SUBARU BOXER
2.5-litre DOHC turbo engine* with large sized intercooler is
the essence of what makes our FIA WRC experience count
on the open road. There’s an enormous 206kW (280 PS) of
power, with a ground-breaking 392 Nm (40 kgfm) of torque.
An Active Valve Control System, variable valve t iming ,
semi-closed cylinder deck design, strengthened pistons,
and secondary air system combustion all play their part, in
providing outstanding performance that’s also compliant
with EURO4 emissions standards as well.
