Join the Microsoft Application Acceleration Program (MAAP) and build a Windows 8 application that will show your staff, customers and the world what your organization can do with Windows technologies. MAAP is designed to assist our customers in designing, developing and deploying new Windows 8 applications across four app types: Consumer, Commercial ISV, Custom Line of Business (LOB) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C).

Minimum Requirements: Windows 8 custom LOB Apps: Customer must agree to

develop and deploy the app to at least 100 devices by June, 2013.

Optimize Your Desktop and Lower Your TCO with Windows and the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack

Windows Deployment Funds are now available to customers that wish to achieve an optimized desktop with Windows 7 and/or Windows 8 Enterprise and the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP). Funding is prioritized for customers looking to migrate from XP,  are less than 10% deployed on Windows 7 and or are looking to pilot Windows 8 Enterprise and MDOP. Uncommitted DDPS days should be consumed first. Prior participation in our PoC program is recommended, but not required.

3 to 15 days of structured technical consulting. Creates a controlled (non-production) install of 5-100 PCs. Enables image build and quick Flexible Workstyle evaluation.

“Good enough” perception of current desktop.

Security3-15 days of structured technical consulting. Installs and configures a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V virtual test environment with network connectivity.

3 days of structured technical consulting. Installs and configures an App-V Management Server and Sequencer, creates and deploys a MED-V workspace package including Configuration Manager 2010.

3 days of structured technical consulting. Helps customers understand their application landscape in order to build the solutions necessary to roll out of Windows 7/Windows 8.

3 days of structured technical consulting. Creates an Office 2015 Compatibility Plan possibly including coexistence, mitigation, or conversion strategy.

Office 2003/Office 2007 migration or compatibility conflicts.

Internet Explorer

5 days of workshops and tool demonstrations. Reviews common IE mitigation problems. Results in a LOB Web applications remediation roadmap.

IE6 or earlier migration or compatibility issues.

Intune2 days of structured technical consulting. Sets up and configures the Windows Intune agent. Provides a comprehensive Intune rollout roadmap.

Desktop management and on-premise deploymentinfrastructure issues.

Office 365 Client

3 days of structured technical consulting. Sets up and configures up to 25 Office 365 tenants for 120 days. Generates Office Alignment Index Reports.

Perceived productivity platform change and maintenance risks.

SCCM

3 days of structured technical consulting. Shows customers a unified infrastructure that delivers and manages user experiences across corporate and consumer devices.

Problems managing client desktops, thin clients, mobile devices, and virtual desktops.

These Terms and Conditions outline the specific rules for this US WINDOWS ACCELERATE PROGRAM (“Program”). The terms of your license for any Microsoft product, or any other agreement between you and Microsoft, are expressly incorporated herein, but not modified, by this reference. By voluntarily participating in this Program, you re-affirm your acceptance of such license terms and expressly agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

This Program is available only to eligible customers (with eligibility as determined in Microsoft’s sole discretion) domiciled in the United States and the District of Columbia (“Customers”) and will be effective beginning on August __, 2012. The Program will terminate on the earlier to occur of the date on which available partner support funds for this Program are exhausted, as determined by Microsoft, or 11:59 p.m. on June 30th, 2013.

Customer’s participation requirements are as follows:• Acquire applicable Microsoft products• Select and engage with Partner in one of

the designated Accelerate Program activities

• Commit in good faith to meeting the deadline in completing the stated “Minimum Requirements,” in consideration of Program benefits offered.

Customer shall identify Partner(s) as follows: • Customers may identify and select qualified

partner(s) from the Partner list provided by Microsoft to carry out the engagement.

• Customers may also nominate a Partner not on the list and request that the un-listed partner be evaluated for qualification.

• Notwithstanding the foregoing, Microsoft shall retain the sole discretion to determine the eligibility of a Partner and will notify customer and partner of partner’s eligibility to receive support funds prior to approving an engagement.

Customer shall engage with Partner(s) as follows:• Customer will work with selected partner to

define the scope of Partner services • Partner will create a Statement of Work

(“SOW”) describing such services engagement

• Customer’s SOW shall exclusively govern all terms of the relationship between Partner and Customer

• Partner must submit required evidence of completion for approval to establish eligibility for reimbursement

Microsoft makes no representation or warranty whatsoever as to: (i) the fitness of any Microsoft product(s) used in the engagement for the intended use by Customer, except pursuant to the license accompanying such product, or (ii) the quality of performance of any services provided by Customer’s selected Partner in connection with the Program.

Microsoft shall not be liable to Customer, whether based in contract or tort law, for any liability for injury, death, damage to property, consequential or incidental damages, or loss of profits suffered by Customer as a result of Customer’s voluntary participation in the Program.

The formation, existence, construction, performance, validity and all aspects of the contract incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington and the federal laws of the United States, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts sitting in King, County Washington.
