Important Flight Instructions 1. Each player will be able to bring one piece of luggage and one equipment bag. You will check your equipment bag and bring the luggage with your clothes on the plane. The guidelines below are taken directly from the Jet Blue website. Carry on (as per Jet Blue website) In order to fit in the overhead bin, your carry-on bag must not exceed 24” L (60.96 cm) x 16” W (40.64 cm) x 10” H (25.4 cm) on all of our aircraft types Checked luggage (as per Jet Blue) Each bag must NOT exceed 62 inches (157.48 centimeters) in overall dimensions (length + width + height) and CANNOT exceed 50 pounds (22.68 kg). 2. If you are a catcher, you will check your Catcher’s Bag and if you are a hitter, you will check your bat bag. The bat bags must be the long duffel bag style. You cannot check a backpack style bag. It is not allowed by the airline. Please place your DBP luggage tag on your Bat Bag and Carry On. *Please use both your checked piece of luggage and your carry on to pack your clothes. 3. Players should pack their glove in their Carry On bag. If Jet Blue loses your luggage you do not want to have to replace your glove in Florida. Besides your carry on, you can also take on a backpack or small bag that will fit under your seat. 4. All cleats must also be checked in a bag. Spikes cannot be taken on the plane. We will collect all spikes at the players/parents meeting the night before departure. We are not sure if we are playing on dirt or turf so bring cleats for both. Please label your cleats. Travel suits must be worn to and from Orlando on the plane. Please also make sure you have both jerseys. DBP Apparel must be worn at all times – even in the parks and at practices.

Please make sure that you have your ID with you on Wednesday morning. We will collect all ID State-issued driver's license and School IDs.

Customers may not bring aerosols, liquids or gels of any kind onboard the aircraft in their carry-on baggage if they do not

meet the requirements described below. This includes all beverages, shampoo, suntan lotion, creams, toothpaste, hair gel,

and other items of similar consistency. Items that do not meet the following specifications must be packed in checked

baggage.

Dual-use Items Prohibited in Carry-on Bags

Prohibited Items are weapons, explosives, incendiaries, and include items that are seemingly harmless but may be used as

weapons (dual-use items). You may not bring these items to security checkpoints without authorization.

If you bring a prohibited item to the checkpoint, you may be criminally and/or civilly prosecuted or, at the least, asked to rid

yourself of the item. A screener and/or Law Enforcement Officer will make this determination, depending on what the item is

and the circumstances. Bringing a prohibited item to a security checkpoint - even accidentally - is illegal.

The following list outlines items that are prohibited in your carry-on baggage. This list is not intended to be all-inclusive and

is updated as necessary. To ensure everyone's security, the screener may determine an item not listed is prohibited.

You are not limited in the amount or volume of the items below that you may bring in your carry-on baggage. However, if the

medically-necessary items exceed 3.4 ounces or are not contained in a one-quart, zip-top plastic bag, you MUST declare it

at the security checkpoint for further inspection.

The following items are permitted in your carry-on bag:

All prescription and over-the-counter medications (liquids, gels, and aerosols) including KY jelly, eye drops, and saline

solution for medical purposes

Liquids including water, juice, or liquid nutrition or gels for customers with a disability or medical condition

Life-support and life-sustaining liquids such as blood products

Items used to augment the body for medical or cosmetic reasons such as mastectomy products, prosthetic breasts, bras

or shells containing gels, saline solution, or other liquids

Gels or frozen liquids needed to cool disability- or medically-related items used by persons with disabilities or medical

conditions.

Declared liquid/gel medications and other liquids/gels for disabilities and medical conditions must be kept separate from all

other property submitted for x-ray screening. Airsoft Guns

Airsoft guns are currently not on the TSA prohibited items list. However, the list is not intended to be all-inclusive. A TSA

screener may determine that an item not on this list is prohibited; consequently it may be advisable to place items in

checked bags if the items are considered "questionable."

If an airsoft gun uses external CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) charges, the airsoft gun is acceptable; however, the CO2 charges are

not allowed.

Information on the 3-1-1 Directive

3-1-1 for carry-on baggage = 3.4 oz / 100 ml bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per Customer

placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3.4 oz / 100 ml

container size is a security measure.

Customers are prohibited from taking liquids, gels, and/or aerosols past the airport security screening checkpointEXCEPT:

one clear transparent, resealable 1 quart (1 liter) size plastic bag containing liquids, gels, and aerosols in travel size

containers (3.4 oz./100 ml capacity) or less per container.

The contents of the plastic bag must fit comfortably and the plastic bag must be completely sealed, be taken out of the

carry-on bag and placed in a security bin

Alcohol Guidelines

Please note: liquids, gels, and aerosols include beverages, shampoo, suntan lotion, creams, toothpaste, hair gel, hair spray,

and other items of similar consistency.

Liquid Exemptions (exempt items more than 3.4 ounces / 100 ml)

Customers may have the following items, but must declare them to TSA at the security checkpoint if the items are not

contained in a clear transparent resealable 1 quart (1 liter) size plastic bag and/or the size of the containers exceed travel

size (3.4 oz / 100 ml):

Baby formula or milk (to include breast milk), baby food and/or juice in containers if a baby or small child is traveling

Medications (liquid, gel, and aerosol)

Liquids (to include juice) or gels for diabetic or other medical needs

Items used to augment the body for medical or cosmetic reasons such as mastectomy products, prosthetic breasts, bras

or shells containing gels, saline solution, or other liquids; and,

Gels or frozen liquids needed to cool disability or medically-related items used by persons with disabilities or medical

conditions.

Customers may be subjected to a secondary screening if they enter the screening checkpoint with liquids, gels, and

aerosols on their person or in their carry-on bag.

Traveling with Formula, Breast Milk, or Juice

When carrying formula, breast milk, or juice through the checkpoint, customers will be inspected, however, the customer or

their baby or toddler will not be asked to test or taste breast milk, formula, or juice. The TSA Security Officers may test l iquid

exemptions (exempt items more than 3.4 ounces / 100 ml) for explosives.

When traveling with a child, in the absence of suspicious activity or items, greater than 3.4 ounces of baby formula, breast

milk, or juice are permitted through the security checkpoint in reasonable quantities for the duration of the customer's

itinerary, if the customer perform the following:

1. Separate these items from the liquids, gels, and aerosols in your quart-size and zip-top bag.

2. Declare you have the items to one of our Security Officers at the security checkpoint.

3. Present these items for additional inspection once reaching the X-ray. These items are subject to additional screening.

Customers are encouraged to travel with only as much formula, breast milk, or juice in their carry-on needed to reach your

destination.

Duty Free Items

Customers are permitted to take onboard the aircraft Duty Free items, liquids, gels, and/or aerosols purchased inside the

sterile area once they have gone through the security checkpoint.

ID Requirements for Domestic Travel

Customers 18 years of age and older will be required to show a U.S. federal or state-issued photo ID that contains the following information: name, date of birth, gender, expiration date and a tamper-resistant feature. These IDs include:

U.S. passport State-issued photo identification card U.S. passport card DHS "Trusted Traveler" cards (NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST) U.S. Military ID Permanent Resident Card Border Crossing Card DHS-designated enhanced driver's license A Native American Tribal Photo ID An airline or airport-issued ID (if issued under a TSA-approved security plan) A Registered Traveler Card (that contains the following: Name; Date of Birth; Gender; Expiration

Citizens of countries other than the US or Canada are NOT required to carry their passports if they have documents issued by the U.S. government such as Permanent Resident Card. Those who do not should be carrying their passports while visiting the U.S.

The name on the ID must match the name in the reservation.

Children under the age of 18 and traveling on a domestic flight do not need to show identification or documentation unless they are under 14 days old (physician’s letter required) or are traveling as a lap child (proof of age may be required. ***************************************************************************** The Home Run Club REQUESTS THAT ALL STUDENTS UNDER 18 BRING THEIR SCHOOL ID WITH THEM FOR IDENTIFICATION.
