Deputy Principal Mrs Annelies Cameron Arrival at & Departure from School-Parking issues 1. Council has changed the existing No Parking 8.00am-9m and 2.30pm-3.30pm directly out the front of the
school have been converted to include 8.00-9.30am and 2.30-4.00pm, School Days. 2. The school gateways should be left clear at all times for entry/exit of emergency vehicles if required. The
gate near the new admin building is often blocked and this is our ONLY vehicular access to the preschool, back oval and K-2 areas.
3. The staffs Carparks are not to be used by parents at all. If you are collecting a sick child it is actually closer to walk from the front the gate.

Celebrations Raffle
This year students are being asked to donate items for their class baskets which will form the prizes
for our Celebrations Guessing Competition to be drawn at Performance Day on Thursday 12
December 2013.
All classes have the same theme: Celebrations. Donations can be in the form of non-perishable food
items e.g fruit cakes, chocolates, chips, biscuits, drinks, grocery items etc gift items, cards,
wrapping paper, gift certificates, movie tickets...any items you would use at home to celebrate. All
items should be in date and unused.
Ticket books will be issued, one per family. Prices are unchanged at 50c each or 5 for $2.00. There are 25 tickets per book and 22 Prizes.
More books are available at the office. Any student who sells one of the winning tickets will receive a prize also. If you do not wish to
sell or buy tickets please return them to your child’s teacher.

Bus leaves Mount Druitt Public School at 7.00am and
returns approx. 6.30pm.

Mount Druitt has Talent! Auditions will soon be held for the SRC Mount Druitt has Talent Show. The show will be held on Friday 5 December with a full dress rehearsal on Friday 28th November. Parents and family members are most welcome to attend.
RULES There will be no bad language or inappropriate themes in music choice, style or words.
Inappropriate dance choreography for children will not be allowed. Costumes showing too much of the body will not be allowed.
Dangerous acts will not be allowed.
You may show any talent you have! Each student will only be allowed to perform in a maximum of one solo item and one
group item.
Maximum 3 minute performance from each act.
All students from P-6 are welcome to perform. Organise your own rehearsals, music and costumes (before, after or during school). You may only practice alone in a classroom with a teacher. All music needs to be given to Mrs. Caves the week before the Talent Quest at
rehearsal.
All costumes and props will need to be used during your rehearsal. Judges decisions will be final on the day!
