Spring 2017 Registration Notes
RRC/AVRY indicates that the section meets at Round Rock Campus. If you are not willing to travel, do not register for that section. Accidental registration into RRC/AVRY class DOES NOT
guarantee a San Marcos class.
MGT 3353 and MGT 3453 labs are assigned to specific lectures. Verify that lecture and lab work with your class schedule.
If you want to register for a management course that is closed for
the spring semester please fill out a closed class request form found on our website under Student Info, or visit the
Departmental Office (McCoy 524). The Department of Management will not handle closed class
requests over the phone.
Congratulations to Dr. Susan Kirby,
Dr. Eric Kirby, and Dr. Rob Konopaske
Their empirical research study, “The Impact of Strategic Independence and Mentoring on Entrepreneurial Orientation: Exploring the Propensity of Millennials to Transition into Full Adulthood” was successfully accepted for publication in the International Review of Entrepreneurship.
San Marcos goes to G-20 in China
Earlier this month, San Marcos Mayor Daniel Guerrero made it possible for McCoy students and faculty to “attend” the G-20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (YEA) summit in Beijing, China, one of the most high-profile youth business events in the world, by videotaping interviews with key participants. Each year, one of the world’s 20 largest economies hosts the G-20 summit, which brings together the heads of state of the top 20 to discuss global economics and security issues. The following interviews are now available on the Department of Management Website:
1. YEA and the G-20 4. Big Data
2. China’s Global Status 5. Access to Funding Chinese Business 3. China’s Technology Scene 6. What is “Platform Economy”
