K-2 Excursion to Australian Reptile Park On Monday 2 September, Kindergarten, Year One and Year Two students went to the Australian Reptile Park to learn more about reptiles, spiders and Australian Mammals. Some of the highlights of the day were the friendly kangaroos and wallabies roaming around the park, Elvis the crocodile, going into Spider World and walking through the ‘crocodiles mouth’ to look at the all the reptiles. Mrs Way was very brave when she had to hold “Fluffy” the 4m long python during the reptile show. All the students got to pat a baby crocodile and ‘Fluffy’ the python. Two of our children loved taking care of the blue tongue lizards during the show. All students were extremely well behaved and had a great day. We were all a bit tired on the way home with many students having a little nap before arriving back at school.
